Description             : Just in case, this compilation of extra MIDIs is
neither official nor endorsed by any contributor to
Ultimate MIDI Pack. This is simply a small project
of mine to fill some gaps in the original which
have been heavily annoying me for years.

ultimidi_fix.wad replaces the MIDIs from Ultimate
MIDI Pack which are remixes of songs from Doom
(D_E1M5 and D_E3M9) with original compositions. It
also replaces the title screen theme (D_INTRO),
which references several songs from Doom, with the
shorter and fully original variant (D_INTROA).

                         e1m4b_fix.wad and e1m8b_fix.wad contain original
compositions for the maps e1m4b.wad and e1m8b.wad
by John Romero, as well as DeHackEd and WILVxx
lumps so that their proper names will show up on
                         the automap and intermission screen.

e1m4b_fix.deh and e1m8b_fix.deh are included merely
for compatibility with the original Boom source
port, which lacks support for embedded DeHackEd
                         lumps.

2024-12-02: I toned down the harshness of the
02:30-03:10 section of the MIDI for the map
e1m8b.wad. I also remade the WILVxx lumps, mainly
for the recent updates and tweaks of
                         https://c.eev.ee/doom-text-generator/.

Additional Credits to   : Bloo, for composing the MIDIs.
continuum.mid, for the original project and the
                         title screen theme.
All contributors of the original project,
                         obviously.
