Comments : After doing pacifist for awhile, it was fun to come back shootin'.
Map 03 - Not too bad. Got four zombies with one shot. Chaingunners are the main problem.
Map 22 - This didn't go the way I'd planned (and practiced). I wanted to run into the chaingunner nest and
gather the plasma rifle and some chainguns, then slip back out and take the lift into the war zone - straight
shot across the slime to the lift to the berserk pack. Instead, I got caught in the chaingun room and had to
transport to the middle. Didn't turn out too bad, except the spectres ate large pieces of me for lunch...
Map 17 - Again, not quite according to plan (or practice) (big surprise when you're playing doom...). I
forgot to blast the spectres before running down for the red key and that threw me off balance. If you watch
this, do it on timedemo on a fast machine - I played pretty conservatively and the time (42:00 +) shows it.
Free - Map 18, yagyu style. I played this map after I did 17, and wondered how it would be yagyu style. I
thought I could get a lot of monsters involved with each other, so I wouldn't have to kill them all. That's
pretty much what happened, too. The first couple of minutes are pretty intense; after that it gets fairly
boring, except for the plasma rifle room and all those pigs...
This is my seventh DHT6 title. I also have six DHT5 titles. Of course, some of those are duplicates, so I
really have:
