Free Interpretation     : Level 13 (FREE_INT.LMP) Do this with KEYBOARD
ONLY! It's tough that way! This recording is
pretty boring (Lasts about 42 minutes) but I
played it from memory ONCE! And my knees were
shaking from the experience, my forearms tendons
were twitching and my middle and index finger
got locked into their positions. Then I decided
I had enough and left it for good. It's a Free
Interpretation, for crying out loud! Please
don't bitch about not bagging 100 kills on a
Free Interpretation, please! I really had a
bad experience with this level. To make it
worse, I hit all the fingers of my left hand
the day before with a sledgehammer, so they
were black and blue and swollen. Go figure.
It has a interesting beginning, tough. The
first two minutes I sprint for the following:
                         a) the plasma gun at the northwest and b) the
invulnerability in the northeast. Since I was
running it on a 50 Mhz 486 the frame rate sucks,
so I had to "unclutter" everything and fast.

Comments                : Level 06 (LEV06EPS.LMP) Yawn! Easy does it.
Level 12 (LEV12EPS.LMP) If you think its boring,
try to convince all 40+ imps and 9 mancubus to
get in the way of the arachnotrons. This one
almost made me climb up the wall. Not enough ammo
                         for my taste.
Level 27 (LEV27EPS.LMP) This one isn't as tough
as they say, but I played it more than 50 times
                         to get it right.

Author info             : A keyboard jockey, I hate the mouse to play Doom
(I've never mastered it to play games, except
Dark Castle. DARK WHAT!?!). If you think my
recordings are lousy, I would like to see you
trying it with a KEYBOARD ONLY. I DARE YOU!
But now I'll take a rest before taking on another
Doom Challenge. (Maybe I'll try Velox or Pacifist.
Too bad Frank won't give away more epic titles.)
I am currently putting together a dictionary of
DOOM terminology, so if you have some to share,
                         please E-mail me.
                         Some of my own terms:
Strolling the monster: sending a monster out
                         a room thru a teleporter.
Load: The ammo fired by a monster.
Line-up: Managing to put lots of monsters in
others way, so they end up shooting it out.
Undeliverable: a stubborn monster (won't tele-
port or won't get in the way of another monster's
                         load)
Framing the monster: Using a small door to lock
a monster and make it rather safe to shoot down.
