Comments              : this i the new dht-title pacifist. my friend
rini thought about some possible ways to play
doom a little bit different and so the pacifist-
idea arose. but first it was more or less a joke.
we thought it would be possible to do just a few
doom maps without harming any monster. but then
we formed the "doom-pacifist-team" with a bunch
of the best compet-n/dht-players and collected
feasable maps. nowadays, there are quite few maps
left that haven't been done the pacifist way,
and most of them are impossible by construction
                       (e.g. e3m1, e3m9, map07, map30) or they contain
a cybie, that has to be dead to finish (e.g. e2m8
and e4m6). note that even e1m8 and e3m8 were done
                       the pacifist way...

                       e1m2: "nuclear plant" (e1m2-d1p.lmp)
the only tricky part is the very last imp
in front of the exit-switch. but you can
always lure him up the elevator or even
press the switch right _through_ him. dance
is before entering the dark arena with
                             the switch.

                       e3m5: "unholy cathedral" (e3m5-d1p.lmp)
if you miss the invisi, just get the blue
key quick before the spectres surround you.
the run through the imps and skulls is
easy, 'cause now with the invisi, the monsters
get out of the way all by themselves. dance
                             is right at the start.

                       e4m3: "sever the wicked" (e4m3-d1p.lmp)
now that one took me quite a few tries,
and i always died at the blue key. so i
moved a little bit slower at the start,
to persuade the baron to finish off a few
shotgunners. kinda worked. the rest was a
piece of cake. again being invisi helps
alot at the very end. funny to open the
last door only to have a barons shot from
a mile away almost right in the face. dance
is after the invul in the save cellar-area.

                       free: "fortress of mystery" (e2m9-d1p.lmp)
couldn't think of a better free, so
i played my favourite e2m9 again, this
time in pacifist style. but at least i
finish the level unhit with the maximum
health and armour (200/200). dance in the
start area, after the first visit at the
                             cacos.
