Comments                : I really enjoyed this challenge ;-)

                         e3m2: "Slough of Despair"     (e3m2-p.lmp)
I agree with egwene (MER) that this is an
ugly level. Just running for the exit is the
only reasonable thing to do in that one ...
                               Time 0:32

                         e4m5: "They Will Repent"      (e4m5-p.lmp)
Definitely the hardest level in the medium
set. Dancing makes this level a big deal
harder. It is so much overhead, as most
unsucessful tries end after a couple of
seconds. I play it safe and snatch the armor.
In the exit jump I nearly jumped too far,
but if this happens you can take the
invulnerability and the yellow key and
                               then exit the normal way.
I end with only 11% health.
                               Time 1:25

                         e3m8: "Dis"                   (e3m8-p.lmp)
Without Patricks "howto" I would never have
been able to do this one. Even with the
knowledge what to do in principle, it took
                               me dozends of tries.

                         free: "Perfect Hatred"        (e4m2-p.lmp)
This is much harder than any of the levels
in the hard subset (in my opinion).
I guess this took me at least a few hundred
tries to complete. I worked out a plan to
make it a bit easier than Yonatan's first
                               recording. This is my strategy:
First I try to make the monsters kill the
demon and imps on the left platform, this
makes the jump to the left room much easier.
I take the radsuit and the supercharge, press
the switch from below and lure the cacos from
the upper platform - they tend to block the
                               Winterfeldt jump. The sergeant sometimes
blocks the narrow passage to the left, round
room. He is one of the worst enemies in this
level. If the radsuit isn't worn up the
staircase is no problem and the only problem
with the Winterfeldt jump is to make it fast
                               enough to avoid blocking cacos.
After this, blocking demons, blocking cacos
and rockets are the remaining problems ;-)
My plan is to take another radsuit to be
prepared for the long route (on which you
don't have to swallow rockets) and let
Mr. Cybie kill the demons. Then go back,
lure the cacos away from the teleporter and
Cybie's platform to clear the way to the
secret exit. In this recording I got some bad
luck with a caco in my back, so I end with
                               only 4% health.
                               This recording contains one telefrag,
                               sorry Mr. Cybie.
Dance at the exit and in the next level.
