System used             : P150+ 6x86/120 Mhz, PCI bus graphics (ATI Mach 64),
                         Soundblaster Pro clone, headphones

Controls used           : keyboard only, with everything redefined
                         as follows:
                             D:     fire
                             A:     strafe left
                             S:     strafe right
                             SHIFT: speed on
                             SPACE: use

In fact I use ["][?][.][#] (on a german keyboard)
rather than the cursor keys - crazy, huh?

Free interpretation     : level 18 nightmare, 100% kills 'n secrets

Comments                : Obviously the easiest 'advanced title'. There's
no need to hurry as time doesn't count and no
respawning monsters force you to act quickly.
An example how easy things can get if you do
excessive corner inspection is my recording of
map 04 - my health drops never below 97%.
Imo this recording is really worth watching!
The other recordings are played the "normal way"
with much higher risk and somewhat acceptable
                         times.

                         map04: "The Focus"                    (map04-y.lmp)
As I said in my D1V6 exam: "Taking the
minimum amount of health during a recording
as property to maximize in competition is a
very original idea of Simon Widlake."
This time I played safely with the -fast
switch (instead of -respawn), thus having
plenty of time to avoid mistakes.
Unfortunately I had some bad luck at the
                                slime and lost 14% health.
                                Kills    100%
                                Items     88%
                                Secrets  100%  and Time  7:10
                                Minimal Health         =   97% !

                         map25: "BloodFalls"                   (map25-y.lmp)
Nice little map, I enjoyed it. The -fast
switch doesn't make much difference here,
I play it on the normal route, just as in
                                plain UV.
                                Kills    100%
                                Items    100%
                                Secrets  100%  and Time  4:02
                                Minimal Health         =    7%

                         map16: "Suburbs"                      (map16-y.lmp)
One thing I really don't like when playing
for 100% kills is to search for missing
monsters. In this recording I hear the blasts
of three imp's fireballs as I thought there
are no monsters left except for the imps in
the endroom. I search the whole level for
almost 40 seconds just to see that I've been
the victim of the 'imp missile bug' once
                                again :-\

                                Kills    100%
                                Items     80%
                                Secrets  100%  and Time  8:09
                                Minimal Health         =    4%

                          free: level 18 nightmare, 100% k&s  (free-y.lmp)
The Courtyard is the level where the
monsters most excessively play hide and
seek with you when playing for 100% kills.
But not this time folks! I play it for 100%
kills and secrets - on nightmare.
You never have to search for monsters when
                                they respawn ;-)

                                Kills    127%
                                Items     58%
                                Secrets  100%  and Time  4:00
                                Minimal Health         =    5%

Author info             : I prefer the "-slow" monsters ...

Btw: I hate agression and violence -
in the real world (the one without pixels, you know?)
