System used: 486DX/2 66Mhz with S3 VLB, sound galaxy (argh!) 8 bit stereo
            & 8 meg ram.

Controls used: Keyboard & Microsoft mouse with keyboard as default.
              I find that holding down shift and the up arrow (forwards)
              all the time and using the mouse to steer is the best method
              of control.  You can then easily shift your hand to the down
              arrow to run backwards.  I use a microsoft mouse driver, with
              both vertical and horizontal set to max (100).

MAP07:
Tough because you really are boxed in, and it's amazing how much angle the
mancubus' can put on their shots.  You have to be right next to the wall to
avoid their shots.  I treat the spiders how I treat deathmatch players -
hold in the trigger until they die.  I only get hit twice, and only lightly.

MAP14:
A little way into this mission you start getting *really* desperate for ammo.
You have to pick up all the heavy weapon dudes' guns, and even then you'll
only just scrape through.  Heavy weapon dudes can really nail you if they
catch you by surprise, so it's vital that you know where they all are.

MAP28:
Invincibilities are what make this level not too bad.  Originally I had a lot
of trouble with this level, but after viewing the other successful attempts
at map28 (some credit must go to MNP and     ), I finally got it.  When
chainsawing the pain elementals, when you hear them start to explode, pull
back, because the skulls are automatically propelled forward a bit, so you
will take damage every time unless you move back a bit.  Could have easily
finished with 200% 200% but didn't bother to go back to get the other
megasphere.

It's interesting to note the special way the double barrel shotgun and the
BFG increase the power of the ammunition.  You can kill a spider mastermind
with 150 cells or so with a plasma gun, but you can do it in 2 BFG shots
(only 80 cells).  When you are killing demons with a shotgun, it takes 2 very
good shots, but usually three, using 3 shells.  But one double barrel shot
will always kill a demon (if it is a reasonable shot).
BTW:  You can kill a cyberdemon in 2 BFG shots!

FREE: MAP02 under par on hurt me plenty (speedy gonzales style)
Took me a few tries and ending up beating the par of 1:30 by 3 seconds.  You
will take a lot of hits during the level so you need to get the blue armour
to keep your health up a bit.  Kill the guys who are in areas that you will
pass more than once, cause even pistol guys drain your health by continual
shooting.
