Comments Map03: One of the easiest maps around.
Map31: Easy too, though not a map ID should be proud of!!
Map06: Couldint believe my luck!! How on earth could this
have been added as hard!!!! The dance is in the slime-
canal booth;-)
Map23: This is on the other hand not a very easy map, thatis
probably the reason why it was still left, beat my
previous best with approx. 10 minutes, played it fairly
"safe" though there are some big mistakes in it. 1. I
forgot that there were 2 Hellknights live and kicking,
and got hit, was a bit low on ammo, but persuaded the
last one to commit suicide, by hitting a barrel. 2.
The first Archvile drew faster than I thought he would,
alas taking away most of the megasphere. 3. The demon
execution at the end is very poor, got a bit nervous
after hitting one at a close range with a rocket, down
to 16 in health!
The pretty good parts are the spiders done in a rather
good fashion, the revenants and second archvile are done
very good, no doubt about that! The weird part are the
demons at the beginning since I missed the bullet box,
and had to use the fist box(ing);-) It felt like trying
to hit in a beehive!!
Free Interpretation
Map23: A "speedrun" using fists only in 1:57. Nothing to "brag"
about, haveint seen anyone doing this though and I
wanted to finish my exam as fast as possible. Didint want
anyone else adding map23 and having to record 14 hard maps.
Author info : Started playing doom "for real" in January 96 ie.
With mouse and separate strafing keys. Got my internet
connection and downloaded Steffen Winterfeldts nm run
and d2gm-aak and some compet-n maps by Daniel (Demonlord)
Lindgren a fellow countryman;-) Got mighty impressed and
started to play seriously!!!!
Credits: : First of all Andreas "Andi" "Anthe" Kren, who has helped
me enormously!!! I have pestered him with mails almost
every day and he has patiently answered all my sometimes
stupid questions.. He has also recorded THE SINGLE MAP
OF ALL TIME. Map22 in nm from scratch, itis in his
wonderful and epic D2S (Doom 2 Schwarzenegger). Watch
it folks!!!! I consider him now to be one of my best
friends. Thank you Andi!!! and Seawas Oida!!!
Daniel Lindgren for being an outstanding player, and
sending me lots of undoable lmps, always leading the
compet-n. Thank you Daniel and donit massacre me when
we will play dm;-)
Simon Widlake for running the splendid compet-n, and
also for saying some nice words about me in the same;-)
Although I "pissed" him off a bit by sending, without
my knowledge a corrupt lmp that destroyed one of his
nm training dsg, still sorry for that.
Thomas Zlatko "The Godfather" for being the encyclopedia
of doom (maps,wads,secrets etc) and a very good player
himself!!
Yonatan Donner for being the best keyboarder and a VERY
good speedplayer!!!
