What the hell is par time for E2M8? It doesn't exist any. (And I think
par time can't exist for final levels, because there is no exit at them;
we must kill the boss daemon.)
Well, I thought a lot, and I made these 2 conclusions (for many reasons
are the most fair):
A. For the future: the final levels must be excluded from the speed exams.
B. For now, for me, and any other who already received such a challenge:
ANY COMPLETION TIME IS LEGAL!
This is totally consistent with dht4 official reference. (The negation
of the proposition "For every t,p, such that t=time(lmp) and
p=par_time_that_appears_on_screen(level(lmp)), holds t<=p" is
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
"t,p exist, such that t=time(lmp) and
p=par_time_that_appears_on_screen(level(lmp)) and t>p".

No par time appears on screen, therefore the 1st proposition is true
for every final level lmp.)

But I don't need to take advantage of the letter of the law! I'm a
WORTHY SPEEDY GONZALES, and I show this to everyone, substituting my legal
E2M8 lmp with 3 others from the same difficulty set! I use E2M8 lmp as
free interpretation lmp (free.lmp).
Nevertheless, free.lmp is really fast; look at it. I show an easy way
to kill the Cyberdemon. At the beginning, there is a suicide. I hit the
Cyberdemon at his back with my fist! The winning demo follows. This lmp
is really great.
From all 6 speedy lmps the hardest was E3M4 (really difficult). All others
are more or less easy for a doomer like me! E2M9 is the easiest thing of the
world to complete under par. e2m9-hmp.lmp hasn't the authentication dance
(this is legal).

P.S. When Frank Stajano corrected the E?M8 "bug" of the speed exams, I had
already done my lmps, so I didn't need to revoke my challenge and get
a new one!.
