System used: 486DX/2 66Mhz with S3 VLB, sound galaxy 8 bit stereo
& 8 meg ram.

Controls used: Keyboard & Microsoft mouse with keyboard as default.
I find that holding down shift and the up arrow (forwards)
all the time and using the mouse to steer is the best method
of control. You can then easily shift your hand to the down
arrow to run backwards.

E3M1: Not much to say really. Rated as easy and rightly so. The only
hassles are the lack of shotgun for the cacodemon and the fact that the
demons can't be dodged. A time of 48 seconds with a par of 1:30.

E2M3: Not the easiest of levels. Definitely need the plasma gun secret
to give quick death to anything in your way. Mega-armour also helps. The
only real trouble spots are the open room if you get stuck and the demon at
the end. A time of 1:01 and a par of 1:30.

E3M7: As I've mentioned in my Doom 1 Master text, this is one of my favorite
levels. A simple run-and-gun level with plenty of shells to rid yourself
of any unwanted attention. Teleporter order is not a problem except when I
re-enter one for no reason. Overall, a pretty easy level for a hard. A
relatively good time of 2:14 with a par of 2:45. Could be better if the
jumps across certain gaps were made, without wasting time to raise the
bridges.

FREE: E3M9: As with many other free's, I originally chose this level to
demonstrate it's ease and to also show a secret that some may not know
about...the BFG. The end part is always fun, especially when you mix a
whole lot of shotty guys with a BFG.
