I substituted E1M3 making 2 additions to the base, E3M6 and E3M9. Why?
Try E1M3 and you'll see by yourself. So, let's see what we have.
E3M8 on ultra-violent is hard; on nightmare is very easy! Why? Simply
because on nightmare there is double ammo.
E2M2 was the harder of the 4 lmps. The authentication dance is done
inside the small crypt with the soul sphere.
E3M6 is very easy. Just get the invulnerability and go to the secret
exit. My completion time was only 1:00 (par = 1:30), though I've done the
authentication dance! E3M6 should be added to the Easy set of D1I levels.
E3M9 is not hard. At the beginning requires the right strategy. After
the E3M1 part, it's easy; get the invulnerabilities and run, run, run!
E3M9 should be added to the Medium or Easy set. The authentication dance
is done in the room just after the narrow corridor with the pink demons.
As for the Incubus title 100% kill isn't required, the situation is very
different from that of the Grand Master title. I show this here with the
base expantion. E3M6 and E3M9 are the 2 levels of the Hardest DM set. (I
disagree for E3M9; I regard it as Medium DM. But it requires a clever
strategy, as I show with the free lmp of my DGM title. No monster hits me
there through the whole mission, until a little at the end. See it -
d1gm-pnb.zip.) But, for DI, E3M6 and E3M9 should be in the Easy or at least
Medium sets. Of course I could do E3M1 instead of E3M9, but I wanted to show
that E3M9 is almost as easy as E3M1. E3M1 and E2M9 are outside the base too;
they should go to the Easy DI set.
My free lmp is E2M4 ultra-violent, with 100% kills, 100% secrets, 200%
health, 200% armor. Look how I use crushing ceilings to kill 2 barons and
3 cacodemons! Look also at the interesting strategy I use to kill the barons
and imps in the north big round area, without letting them get out of their
crypts.
