Archive Maintainer      : This wad contains graphics, music and
sounds, but it probably belongs more in the
                         /graphics directory than /combos.
There currently exists a windoom.exe source
port, but there are no windoom*.* files in
                         the Doom Archive.
Update to               : Not applicable
Advanced engine needed  : No
Primary purpose         : No levels included

Title                   : Windows Doom
Filename                : windoom.wad
Release date            : December 2000
Author                  : Sparky of KISS Software
Email Address           : [email protected]
Other Files By Author   : too many to mention  ;)
Misc. Author Info       : Electronics Engineer with a passion for Doom
(and a love/hate relationship with Windows).

Description             : Give Doom the look and sound of Windows 95.
Includes that inane Canyon midi, startup
and shutdown screens and sounds, and several
parody images - press F1 for Help, and Pause
for a special error message   ;)

This wad is for Doom, Ultimate Doom, and
Doom II but contains no levels - checkout
the blue rivets everywhere on E1M1 or MAP01.

Note to Wad Authors out there: WinDoom was
originally going to be a Partial Conversion
with surreal levels inside your computer,
but it's gathered enough dust now for me to
realize that it's not going to happen. So I
stripped out the textures and incomplete map
and released it in the form you now see it.
Feel free to use WinDoom.wad as a base to
                         finish this dream  :)

Additional Credits to   : Microsoft Corporation for driving me insane
to the point where I'm too scared to update
my operating system ..."better the devil you
                         know"   ;)
