unix-wizards vs info-vax

There has been a considerable amount of discussion in info-vax
to the effect that it should be made a newsgroup strictly about
the vax hardware and not vms, and that a new newsgroup called
info-vms be created to discuss vms.  Since unix-wizards also
mixes hardware and software issues, is there any interest in
the unix-wizards group in splitting all hardware related issues
into a separate newsgroup from the software?  If there isn't
any interest in doing this, there isn't much point in splitting
up info-vax into two newsgroups (the unix people & the vms
people could just hold their own private hardware discussions
without communication with each other).
