this isn't really a follow-up, but i don't know how to originate items.
Three men are standing on the observation deck of the World Trade Center.
One man says to the two others, "Did you know that the sidewalk down
there (pointing 110 stories down) is made of rubber, and that if you
were to jump from here, you could bounce right back up?".
This statement surprises one of the men, and he says, "Wait a second,
may think I'm stupid, but you're not going to get me to believe that."
So the first man says, "Here, I'll prove it", and he jumps from the
building. The two one the top watch, as he falls,
and falls,
and falls,
and they see him hit the
sidewalk, and suddenly start to bounce back up. He lands right where he was
standing before.
The man who spoke before is up on the ledge in an instant, saying "If
you can do it, I can do it. Here goes!" He jumps.
and falls.
and falls.
and he hits the sidewalk
and goes SPLAT!
The two men lean away from ledge, and the silent one says, "Sometimes
Clark Kent, you're a real prick."
