A Twin Tower Saga

Two Americans take an ethnic (I usually use Australian, since I do
a fairly decent Australian accent) up to the roof of the World
Trade Center in NYC, 130 stories high I believe...

1st American (to the ethnic): Did you know that the air currents
       here are such that if you jump off, you will fall to the
       30th floor, then be swept up by gust and placed gracefully
       right back to the place you started from?

Ethnic: Really now, I don't believe you.  You're pulling my leg!

So the first American jumps off the building, and sure enough at
the thirtieth floor he swoops back up and lands gracefully on the
roof.

Ethnic:  That's truly remarkable.  Do you think I could try?

1st American: It's an experience guaranteed to change your life.

So the ethnic jumps off, 50th floor, 40th floor, 30th floor, at
about the 20th floor a faint scream is heard, then a thud followed
by silence.

2nd
American:  You know, Superman, you can be a real SOB sometimes.

(I did not think this qualified for net.jokes.q, inasmuch as I
heard it from a minister.)
