Getting your money's worth
Two pollacks, Ed and Zach, saved for years and years to go on
a cruise. Finally the day came. As they got off the ship at
the first stop, Ed asked, "How much money can we spend here?"
Zach replied, "Seventy-five cents."
"What do you mean?! We saved for so long and we can only spend
seventy-five cents??!", exclaimed Ed.
"I'll see what I can do", said Zach.
So Zach went out, and later returned. "I've got it all worked
out! I bought us a box of tampons."
"We've only got seventy-five cents to spend, and you buy a box
of tampons?", cried Ed.
"Yes, but look at all we can do", explained Zach as he turned
the box over. "We can go swimming, and horseback riding. . .".
