New Atari Cartridge
I was over at the store yesterday and I came across two new
cartridges for my Atari game system. They were made by a company called
Imagic. There was one called something like "Space Armada", the other
was "Demon Attack". "Space Armada" wasn't very good. The use of graphics
was decent but the game was slow moving. It looked like a souped-up
version of the old Atari "Outer Space" cartridge (that they no longer make).
"Demon Attack" however was excellent! The graphics were very good, and
the pace of the game was very fast. It reminded me of the arcade game
"Phoenix". The "demons" form from both sides of the screen, they zip from
side-to-side, and up-and-down. In later waves they split into two smaller
demons when you hit them. The small ones will then "flap" their "wings"
and try to run into your laser base. All in all, it is one of the best
cartridges I've seen for the Atari.
Does anyone have any information on this Imagic company?
Does anyone have any comments on this or any other new cartridges
for the Atari made by Atari, Activision, Apollo, or Imagic?
