Snappy Snake
Well, I brought a version of snake up on my LSI/23 system
without floating point hardware... would you believe about
2-3 seconds per position to move??? Since this was totally
unacceptable, I completely rewrote the "chase" routine,
which was the time gobbler--it now keeps up with the key-
board/screen very well. It doesn't have quite the same
feel as the old routine, but it does get tougher at about
the same speed.
I started with a 2.8BSD version of snake... if anyone
REALLY wants my mods, I'll see what I can do.
