I thought it might be interesting to people that using my EMACS on my
Ambassador terminal (which has a META key), I was able to do your quiz
in 86 keystrokes; terminals without META keys would take 97.
Of course, this quiz was designed with vi in mind; it would be easy to
design a quiz for EMACS which show up even greater differences. For
example, "Exchange this Lisp s-expression with the previous one" takes
one keystroke on an Ambassador terminal, two keystrokes on terminals
without META keys.
