You are allowed to turn your back to the enemy, but it is not advised
as he will surely get your tail.
Some group of people I know went out and purchased a used Battle Zone
from one of the game distributers for around $1000. It lasts about two weeks
in each home until they get sick of playing it.
It is worth a look.
The U.S. Army also is quite interested in the game as a simulator to test
soldiers responses. A Ft. Eustis, VA group is using several for training.
