rogue.save
There is a very bad consequence of rogue's saving the i-node time
in the file to prevent using copied games.  As I understand it (this
happened to me once!), one of the first things rogue does is to write
the time to the file.  There is then a margin (I think around 15 seconds
but am not sure) in which the last change of the i-node time can match
the time written to it.  Bad thing:  If the system is loaded, it is
easy for rogue to take longer than this margin to complete the file
-- result, it thinks you've cheated.  I realize that if the time were
written onto the end of the file, it would be much easier to copy it
within the margin, but surely it shouldn't go so close to the beginning!
