Fighting vs. Quitting
To Zorro the Avenger:
To quit when you have 5 hit points left and you are about to be slit
from your guzzle to your zilch by an angered Xorn is not a major
intellectual effort.  You are not quitting to fight (in your current
incarnation) another day, but are rather eluding the results of your
own stupidity for having gotten in such a situation by using a non-
real-world design quirk.  I don't say disallow quitting, merely
disallow it in cases where the result of a battle is already setting
the outcome.
