Re: New list of Public Access Message Systems
Those interested in Bill Blue's list of public access message
and file transfer systems will find the latest version on MC
in CPM;BBSNOS BYNAME
Many new systems have been added and some corrections have been
made. Thanks to Bill for a fine job!

Does anyone know anything about the 'SOFTWARE REVIEW' in the
may/June issue of MICROSYSTEMS on p.33? I am specifical interested in
The Connector;
'Links different controllers running under CPM. Simplifies
file transfers between various formats. You can actually run
Northstar, Diskjockey,...'
anyone know of something better??

I am working with 6800 and 6809 micros and would like to connect them
to equipment that has the IEE488 bus. Do you know of anyone that has
or sells hardware and/or software to interface the IEE488 to the SS-50
or SS-30 bus that the 6800 and 6809 have?

Does anyone have a complete list of Zilog<-->Intel mnemonics
correspondence. Doesn't have to be human readable (i.e. some
translator's obscure-looking data base would be fine, as long as the
format is known). Thanks.

I am trying to set up a multi-user micro based computer system. We
need about 20meg on disk (hard), one single density 8" floppy,
cartridge backup and two to three terminals. I have thought of MP/M
and OASIS as OS's and would like ideas about how folks feel about
them, I also want to run some form of inventory control, but it must
be configurable (hackable) and not too much pf a pain to use. I have
a limmitted (but practical budget) of about 14 to 16 K bucks, but
would like to stay less than that.
I would like any ideas, sugesstions, other blah about systems,
modules, vendors, and any other things you can think of. the other
requiremnet is reliability. Anything you can tell me would be of use.
I am still working on record lockout things and other nonesuch as
well.
Thanks,
Dave Gewirtz (DAG@MIT-AI)

Subject: 2900 assembler
Does anybody have a copy of AMDASM (the "official" AMD assembler for the
29XX family)?
If not, then are there any home-brew 2901 assemblers out there that will
run on TOPS-20 Version 4? V3?

Subject: Z8000 Assembler needed
I am in (somewhat desperate) need of a Z8000 assembler which runs
under CP/M and produces either a HEX file or a REL file (HEX file more
than adequate, could even use an absolute BIN file). Any suggestions,
pointers, etc. would be very helpful. All replies to DAN@ML.
Thanks,
Dan

Subject: Data Base Programs
I have been desperately looking for a good data base program that will
run under CP/M. I need recommendations and descriptions, as the folks
who sell these $400-$1500 packages do not seem to provide
demonstrations . Does anyone know where I can get a demo of one of
these programs in the Northern NJ, NYC area?
HELP!!!!
Thanks,
Dave

While giving my software management seminar in Denmark I mentioned the
existance of CROSS and got several queries. Is there a European source
for documentation or code?? I didn't even have the US one, so any and
all info would be appreciated.
