So here's archive number five! And god, I've still got a meg of this shit left
so don't think it's going to stop anytime soon. As of this writing, the war
is still going on strong. The PLA have set up pages somewhere that will
automatically spam the BNF and sometimes it gets to the point of your post
being scrolled off the board within 20 minutes. I'm still on the edge of my
seat about all of this wondering what's going to happen with it all. These
posts start on August 20th, 1997. Just shows you how behind I am in doing all
this stuff.

First of all... mIRC is a software program. You can not
be thrown off it. You must be talking about IRC, right?

impossible for someone to be kicked off the IRC
entirely.

What a wonderful thing to post as Logic Box is under a
suicide watch. At one time he did have a few cyber
friends. Too bad he published that piece about
instigating the ruination of the BNF in that PLA-zine.

[I don't know if this was mentioned in one of my earlier
archives, but someone made a "We hate PLA page" which was
taken down a few days later. The page was really lame and
whoever designed it just couldn't get the hang of WYSIWYG
html editors. Basically the page just listed each person
"in" the PLA and had a paragraph of insults next to each
name. Very uncreative. ]

Post here for Wednesday night--we can't let these brats
take the forum over.
[This was someone making a new post at the top of the forum in
hopes of overcoming all of the spam posts. It was a hopeless
battle for the regular BNFers. They kept capturing all the
previous posts that were about to be scrolled away by spam and
pasting them into new threads. When that thread reached the bottom
they started over. This went on for about 5 hours straight. ]

Re: the new threads, they are all the same couple of
titles, showing they are automatically being generated.
Please don't go to any website url that was posted here
today or yesterday whether it is supposed to be pro or

I can't believe it was Jameson, as it imitates his
style but NOT QUITE well enough. Jameson never tells us

Hi folks. I agree the threads are being generated
automatically. I'm not sure how they do it. They may
have something posted on a bulletin board. Some thing
like the web page with the hili peppers. The thing is,
if you generate a thread, the forum gives you the
"return" screen. And if you try to create two threads,
the forum tells you you can't do it. I know becasue I
clicked on the chili peppers and this is what happened.
So you can tell if you do it.
And I don't think there are any strange URLs posted
here tonite.
But I do agree we should stay off strange URLs.

Somewhere they have rigged up an E-Mail forwarding
service to post two new threads when they are accessed.
They are:
JBR Thursday #243 and
PLA is going down.
It may be that they are not on line now, this is just
being done automatically.
I think the best thing to do is NOT POST on any of
those threads--use the threads we know to be
authentic--those with other names.

who runs PLA or made the PLA web page. Actually, Matt Wright is
a guy who runs a site on the web offering free cgi scripts. The
PLA used Matt Wright's web board script and on the bottom of
the web board there's a little notice saying, "This script was
created by Matt Wright! Visit my page of scripts!" or something
like that. Who knows how they came up with the idea that Matt
was the PLA head hauncho. ]

Matt Wright is the person who created the PLA web site.
Oh, sorry, I'm not shohani, but I did check the PLA
site and can answer your question, but probably not as
well as she can. The address

Thank you, a friend at work told me about it and we
always talk about the case. I don'thave that much time.
we have young kids--2--but my husband is self employed
and he gets to spend more time than I do. I work for
the county in a small town in California. You hear so
many different stories about this case that its hard to
keep up with it.

I used to lurk here a couple of months ago. I have been
offline for a while and just returned. What the hell is
happening here? This has been going on for a while, I
presume? Who is PLA? Are they responsible? Who is
queer? The PLA? Somebody has to tell me, this is too
good to miss!!Is the PLA one of those "it's ok to have
sex with kids" groups? Why would kids want to trash
this forum? Most of the people here are here because
they have seen the cruel things that adults sometimes
do to children. We want to see justice done and the
guilty ones fry. Why don't they go trash forums that
feature people that they actually have a gripe with?
Someone who goes against everything they believe would
be a more satisfying target, I would think. Someone

Everyone got tired fighting. A lot of people went over
to the forum at Joshua-7.com. Like Mrs. Brady and
Murphy and others. Jameson. I don't know the exact
address, but I type www.joshua-7.com from my browser
address window and I get there with a couple of clicks.
Joshua-7 only has a few offerings and the forum is, I
suppose, "better" than this one.

sick-o on this forum and It has taken over. Do the
math.
It's an incredible being. It opens one hundred windows
of threads, glues the same post into all of them and
clicks SUBMIT so that the poor forum is forced to
accept a hundred stupid posts on one thread.
It thinks this is SO SPECIAL. It thinks it is SO MUCH
SMARTER THAN THE REST OF US. It thinks that its own

They are inarticulate. They seem to have no coherent
objection to this forum, other than that they think
it's dumb.
They are racist and anti-semitic
We've found their websites, and found "writings" by
them - incredibly tedious descriptions of how they
embarassed a telephone operator. They are people really
without any charm or talent. They just wreck things,
chosen at random. They could just as easily be writing
dirty words on the wall, or calling you in the middle
of the night repeatedly and saying "wrong number"
Their only talent is choosing easy targets.

I know I, for one, gave up some time back. Others hung
in there longer. Then, in the last week or so, entropy
really set in. I think we're hovering at the line of
death. The whole process will repeat itself, faster, on
the Joshua forum. Does this have to happen? If the
murder is never solved, I guess it has to happen
sometime. We'll all get senile or something.
I thought there was more to say, somehow, but it became
impossible. There used to be a serious discussion of
abuse, children, law enforcement...I guess, like all
Americans, we'll forget until it hits again, and we'll
pray in the meantime it doesn't hit close to home.

I'm not a rigid person, I even have a high level of
tolerance for mischief, but what's been happening here
is vulgar and interferes with the rights of others. I

After about 2 weeks of this, I've pretty much decided
that there can be no more cohesive conversation on the
forums regarding this case.
They've won, but in a sense I feel like I haven't
really lost. The superphreaker posting all this crap,

The PLA is not responsible for what is there now. The
person who runs the forum posted that threat. He was
going to bed and didn't want the forum to be overrun by
the juvenile threads so he shut it down for the night.
It will be up and running tomorrow. Don't give the PLA
any credit, they are nothing but wanna-bes. They are
not capable of serious hacking. They use threats to
scare people but aren't capable of carrying them out.
They hide behind modems and telephones and use them as
a means to harrass people because they are weak, plain
and simple. If they carried on the way they do face to
face with people they would be getting their asses
kicked on a regular basis. Don't be afraid of them.
Actions speak louder than words, and so far all they're
doing is talking. It's the only thing they know how to

being down. They didn't hack into it and bring it down,
the owner put it down for the night. Yes, they are
indirectly responsible for it being shut down because
they posted stupid threads. All I'm saying is that
there is no reason to fear them. They can't get inside
your computer. All they are capable of is posting
meaningless threads filled with trash and four letter
words. And that isn't saying much. I have yet to hear
of them actually getting into anyone's computer, if
it's happened let me know. Chances are, it never
happened and people are so paranoid they think it has.
Just because your browser crashes or you get an error

My computer is really screwed up this a.m.
O.K., today I received a reply from the ACLU, and
I was happy to learn that what is happening here
is against the law according to the Federal
Communications Act of 1986.
The act is 56 pages long, but the sections that
pertain to us were highlighted and I will try to

SECTI0N 2701. Unlawful access to electronically
stored communications.
(a) OFFENSE--Except as provided in subsection (c) of

PREVENTS AUTHORIZED ACCESS (Caps mine) shall be
punished as provided in subsection (b) of this
section.
(b)PUNISHMENT--The punishment for an offense
under subsection (a) of this section is:
(1)If the offense is commited for purposes
of malicious destruction or damage...(other stuff
that doesn't pertain to us)
(A) A fine of not more than $250,000 or
imprisonment of not more than one year, or both,
in the case of a first offense under this sub-

for any subsequent offense, etc.
Bottom line is we have a case which I will file
tomorrow as a class action suit and the gov. has two

It seems that it's time to clear something up for all
you elderlies. I left my mother and father sitting in
thier suburban home wondering where the fuck I was in
1992, at the humble age of 15. Yes, I'm 21. That should
narrow your search for me down quite a bit.
Often times, I wish I hadn't done that. Foresight is a
wonderful thing. My mother cooked some really fantastic
meals and I got a standard allowance that I could spend
as I pleased! Damn, that was really stupid of me. I
thank you all for getting me thinking about that,
because I haven't thought about it in a long time. I
think I'd better have my mom come look at this page,
feel sorry for me, she can see how ~sorry~ I am that I
left home and maybe she'll send me a care package or a
big fat check. To spend as I please. And maybe she can

I didn't see the pictures as Dan deletes all their
posts within minutes. However, I have seen her pictures
and she is young and pretty with long hair. There is
one of her at work in shorts; one on an ottoman at home
dressed up and one head closeup. From their web sites
it appears she is Logic Box's girlfriend. Logic Box
seems to be about 17. Though she just might be their
mascot, leader, den mother, whatever.
Yes, some of the PLA are girls. And as the archived
threads show, she was part of this forum as well as
part of the PLA. Unless early members explain, we can't
know how she was welcomed into the irc channels and
this board, since the archives weren't started until
January 26 and occasional threads were deleted after
(not many, but some). There seems to be a fine line
between PLA and "Regular forum poster" in the early
days.
Any oldtimers want to enlighten those of us who weren't
here then?

Haven't any of you noticed that the repetitive thread
today is the one with the Joshua url? No doubt the boys
at the PLA have now rigged the Joshua forum to make a

thread after another is being created on our forum. I

What's a Nerd? A Nerd is a loser, a pathetic specimen
of mankind that isn't accepted by the majority, so they
( it ) causes trouble whereever it goes for ATTENTION.
So, a Nerd is an attention seeker, intent on causing
havoc anyplace they know they're not welcomed.
What we have in this forum, are one or two Nerds that
have no social life because they don't fit in with the
majority. This forum, as some of the others, are a
place they ( the its ) can raise havoc, and NOT be
detected. UNLESS, of course, they run up against
someone that knows their little games, and how to
redirect the BS they pull BACK on them. These people
(and I use the term 'people' loosly), are going to meet
their waterloo one of these days from someone going on
a nerd hunt.LOL
The net is only anonomous to people that DON'T know
where to start looking. So far, even the novice know
that these NERDS are teeners that are now back in
school, and only have time to play in the evenings and
weekends. Poor little nerdies_they don't have weekends
scheduled for anything but messing with forums on their
little computers. I bet when they're not playing in the
forums, they're standing in front of the mirror
squeezing their pimples, jacking off in their bedrooms
(they LOVE those sex sites), or adjusting their high
risers. These people are the same ones that make
obnoxious phone calls, breathe hard, and then hang up.
Why? _ because in real life, these people are cowards
and misfits.
So, the only thing to do, is ignore their antics. Keep
on posting, but completely ignore the nerds regardless
of what they post or do. As long as serious posters in
this forum continue to complain or react to these
little nerdies, the longer they will continue to
provoke. Remember, these people are USELESS members of
society that have NO spines, and their days are
definitely numbered ANYWHERE they show up.

No way going n Joshua affects anything here. PLA just
want you to think that. The fact that the URL appears
in the automatically created threads name has nothing
to do with where the thread was created.
Go to Dan's page and get ready to create a post. Hit
"view" / "view source" on your browser. Look at the
HTML. You don't have to understand HTML.
Read it and you'll see there's no reference to the BNF
URL.
This is coming from the chili pepper page. We don't
know where it is. They can put any text they want in
it. Right now they are using Dan's URL to scare people
away from there.

If you go to the PLA WWW Board and Dan's Discussion
Board you will see both of them are involved with Matt
Wright. He is involved in making both web pages. This
is beyond coincidental.
I think I smell a rat.

Matt Wright is well known on the net for his web site
"Matt Wright's Script Archive" This is a great website
where you can get CGI scripts (a kind of program) for
things like forums, guest books, counters etc. This
gives people who are not programmers a way to add these
services to their web sites.
It's not a coincidence at all. So many people get there
forum software from there. You see it all over the web.
Nothing fishy.

The PLA has succeeded in making everyone so paranoid. I
know you'll be afraid if to go to a URL I put here, so
just do an Alta Vista search on "Matt Wright" You can
just read the refrences that come up. You'll see
thousands of websites with guest books etc using his
CGI scripts.

This is a wonderful web resource. I'm sure shohani
misunderstood when she saw Matt Wright credited on the
PLA page. For once the PLA showed the good manners to
