Hands down this one gets my vote. Things have been so much
better now that the PLA are completely gone, it's starting to
feel like our same old forum again.
I whole heartedly hope people will start posting with their
original hats again and once again participating as we did
last Winter. We had some spectacular sessions here and I know

I want to add that I like Joshua and they do a fine job, I
just like it here better.
But does anyone here lurk or post over at alt.tru-crime? I
lurk there, but less and less. It is such a zoo, they get into
these amazing arguments. They've been having one for weeks
that has hundreds of posts becasue someone called somebody an
asshole. And they get into these insane arguments about what
"asshole" means and how it should be used. And they gang up on
each other and send emails attaking one another.
The week the fial autopsy was released, all they talked about
was this asshole thing. They are STILL talking about it!
It's so nice here in comparison. Has anyone else seen this
over there?

statement which implicated us as the killers of Jon
Benet Ramsey. You see we saw her as the root of all

'I'll' above. Things like this should be fought through
the appropriate channels. Posters only contribute to
the twisted ego of the creep. If it's obscenity like
that, go to the webmaster and hope that they will

I dunno, but hanging is too good for him. David posted

with the info. Ticklish thing though, that internic

The 1/hour limit is still in effect. I just tried to

Imps have either managed to bypass it, or have assigned
harrassment times to several members.
dreamer, PLA'ers get their kicks from disrupting forums

can't imagine why the Ramsey's would care about this

The Wheel of Fortune was amusing to some, it's a week
or so back in the archives. Again, when someone posts
personal info here, make very sure you check it out.
It's a common tactic of the PLA to post personal info
on someone wearing a hat you trust. Then that person is
harrassed...the very person the PLA wanted harrassed to
begin with.

Flower, I guess you missed my explanation two threads
ago. Det. X (& 2 coherts) spent an inordinate amount of
time researching and tracking the pla's movements
(don't know enough of the tech terms) and discovered
all kinds of personal info on Tannest. Each time a
pla-linked thread would appear, he'd give out one
letter of her company or client. It was truly a cyber
lynching and a hilarious evening.

Considering the type person our girl Samantha is, just
knowing the rest of the family is really white trash
too, don't you think the maternal genes probably won
out? I mean, it's unlikely that there was any real
supervision or involvement at home when they were
growing up. Maybe Mom's a slut and they all have
different fathers. Sounds more plausible, imo. By the

Actually, I don't think that Detective X or whatever
he/she is has found anything about our jolly boy/girl.
To accomplish that he/she had to:
1. Hack this server to gain the root access.
2. Install some sort of tracer to find trasher's IP
address.
3. Find ISP that owns this address.
4. Hack that ISP's server.
5. Trace that second server activity to catch the
hooligan and access his/her personal data.
If our Detective was so powerFOOL it would be much
easier for him to block that person by some technical
means rather then trash our threads with yet another
unrelated topic. Also, it's quite possible that our
brave Detective fights him/herself.

trace the ISP. However, anyone who would stoop to
posting someone's personal information onto an open
forum is no better than those that have been trashing

Thanks. Though I believe sometimes publishing the
personal data is a good thing. I completely support
Megan Law for instance.
Also, I'd like to point out that Detective X's post
emerged some 20-30 minutes after I pointed out that
shutting down the Access' ISP by mass email could help
because the spammer is probubly Ramsey's employee. This
way people attention was directed to another, more
convinient for Access discussion. Actually, I don't
think shutting down Access' access to the Net would
stop spam cause he/she could easily use some private
account at AOL or somewhere else. But it would bring
some attention to our forum and indirectly force the
Boulder News to do something about our friend.

Megan's Law is an excellent law, IMO. There, the
information is realeased by the proper authority.
I just witnessed recently a well meaning individual
post an ISP for a deviant poster. Turns out that his
internic was wrong. Thankfully, the webmaster removed
the incorrect post as soon as he was notified the post
existed.

Yes, you show why a little knowledge is dangerous.
Hacking BNF to get the source IP, then hacking the ISP
to get the personal info is ONE way. It is not the only
way. The people setting up pages that cause new thread
to be created may leave traces there. They may post in
other places (like the PLA website) and proclaim their
destructiveness there, and also leave a trace. They may
do other things on the net under the same handles and
be traced by that. If they access IRC their IP
addresses may be visible (and yes, I mean MAY). Etc.
For example, personal info of regular posters was
posted here many months ago, yet BNF was never hacked.
So you see, you may know one way, but don't be arrogant
and assume it is the only way.

forum. Most of them just don't understand what
happened.
Spam posts continue, and I find this humorous post.
Post:Today they have started a few new tricks. These
tricks indicate to me that these hackers are not simply
juveniles who hack phone lines, commit fraud and so on,
all of which they brag about in their repulsive
manifesto, a tiny portion of which V quoted from in the
thread below. It is crystal clear to me that they work
at Boulder News, or HAVE THE ABILITY TO HACK INTO YOUR
SYSTEM, and have a powerful network consisting of many
computers with different accounts, and that their whole
mission is to post offensive spam 24 hours a day. They
are never away from the forum.
PLA guest book gets spammed with some really cool
heiroglyphics, and the guestbook is broken for about 24
hours. RBCP put quite a bit of work into getting it
running again, and sent me this email:

I would just like to clear up a few things.
Point 1:
PLA is the Phone Losers Of America. That is a magazine
that has been around for quite some time that contains
a few funny articles about telephony and computer
related fraud. It is humor. It is also discontinued by
the editor RedBoxChiliPepper. RBCP is a bored 20
something that had nothing better to do with his life
than make crank calls and write a silly ass e-zine.
Then the punk ass loser got married had a kid. End of
story.
Point 2:
I sincerely doubt that RBCP would have anything to do
with the actual posts here. My guess is that immature
little twits like LogicBox and Tannest are so friggin
pathetic that they post in the name of a PLA group that
doesn't exist. Really sad when you think about it.
These two people must be total idiots to spend so much
time doing this. By now even more morons have joined
them and post occasionally using the PLA brand. Blah.
The PLA was a pathetic zine and they want to be part of
it. Now that is sad.
Point 3:
It takes idiots like these spam posters to point out
how friggin sick you people are for entertaining
yourself with the death of a little girl. What kind of
perverts obsess over a dead child? What the hell is
wrong with you people? Kids have to tell you how sick
you are by spamming your board and then to make matters

Despite what the "PLA" says it isn't a 'zine. The "PLA"
is a criminal cartel. Their website is a domain with
the extension "org." That PROVES that they are an
ORGANIZATION. Mainly bent on credit card fraud, phone
company fraud, and screwing up the Internet discussion
groups and Irc as well. They delight in criminal
activities. Tannest and LogicBox are central in the
destruction of this discussion board. Of course, we
cannot forget the founder of this self-professed
cyber-terrorism group. RBCP. He has minions like Ryan
Scott (aka Logicbox) and Tannest (aka Samantha Kay Dahl
Stack) working for him. Take a look around. They will
continue to DESTROY the threads here UNTIL they are
STOPPED! There is plenty of information here today to
at least STOP Logicbox. He has to answer to his high
school principal at Fremont High. The other slackers
will get theirs soon. The veterans of this discussion
group are SICK and TIRED of their cyber-vandalism and
WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANY LONGER!

I'll help you clear up one thing - yes, I'm actively
involved in this forum. I don't do much posting myself,
but I have to admit that it's a major ego boost to know
that there's a discussion forum on a major newspaper's
server that's sole purpose is to talk about ME. I come
here everyday to read up on myself and see what all the
new rumors are. Wouldn't you feel honored if a few
hundred people were obsessed with you and talked about
you everyday on a discussion board? Judging by the
number of posts, I seem to be more important than that

I am going to bed for the night right after I type this.
I am a Private Investigator in real life. Sometimes I
have control of my hours and sometimes I don't. I got a
call at 4:00 a.m and have been gone for the last 15 hours.
Came home and ate dinner and that's it for me today.
Before you all start laughing - that's the reason I didn't
tell you before this. This forum doesn't take too kindly
to anyone telling them what they do in real life. The last
time this happened I had my wife tell you I was sick. I
wasn't sick. I was just on assignment. This time I decided
to come clean. Its not important if you believe me. I live my
life and I know what I do.
Due to my change in plans today the packages did not go out.
I will not say anymore on that subject.
LogicBox lives in Sunnyvale, California. I revealed that last
night. Someone else also revealed it.
LogicBox is a student. He's 17 and lives at home. He goes to
Fremont H.S. in Sunnyvale.
This is it for me tonight - sorry for the disappointment.
Right now sleep seems more of a necessity than BNF hackers.
I will be back. That you can count on.

PLEASE tell me that Detective X's "surprise" package to our

seductress Tannest is a pile of legal papers. God I hope
they have to pay for messing this forum up for so long.
I feel sort of bad for Ryan Scott. I went to Freemont H.S.
homepage, and looked under students & he had a page. All it
was was weird-o geeky dungeons & dragons type of fantasy game
stuff. I hope that kid is able to use the obviously brilliant
gifts he has for something good someday. This sad old world
needs those smart kids, but right now an awful lot of them
seem mighty messed-up.

If I were you, I would print up the last few nights postings
on this forum and show them to your principal. I would then
ask him to consult the newspaper that provides this forum and
insist they provide him with the IP addresses logged for the
postings that reveal your personal information, that of your
school's, and his own. Print up the terms of agreement for
using this forum and demand they honor it by providing the
names of those stalking you. If you are in fact a minor this
will increase the seriousness of what they are doing to you.

This would be just great. Ryan Scott WILL be called into Mr.
Tuana's office. Mr. Tuana asks what is with all of the
complaints that I have recieved about your behavior. Ryan

That is a GREAT scenario, and Ryan Scott deserves it for
being the original vandal of the threads here MONTHS ago.
Mr. Tuana will NOT appreciate the SHAME that Ryan Scott
has brought to Fremont High School. Maybe Ryan can get a
low-paying job flipping burgers in Sunnyvale. And, then

Deep Shadow, I have always admired your posts and enjoyed
your take on things concerning this case. But your last post
has proven to me that this situation has finally eroded to
