GALS PANIC
Austin, TX

This four piece band has utilized technology  to its greatest.
In their Space Race single,  they present a full version of
"Gals Panic,"  which includes scratching and simulated  horns.
It sounds great, and brings a new  sound to American ska.  Both
songs on the  single give good explanation as to why they  sell
out every show they play.  Furthermore,  they will be featured
in a new movie by the  director of Sex, Lies and Videotape.

They also have a cassette which I believe has  been released.
It has the same two songs on  the 7" plus six more.  These
others are a little  harder, and some not ska at all.  Still,
they  represent the future of the south, and people  are taking
notice.
