INTRODUCTION
Brethren, we are called to be those who stand in the gap,
interceding to God for our families and our loved ones.  Prayer
is a "first of all" priority activity assigned to us by our God>a..
We want the best in the Lord for our loved ones and ourselves.
In order to obtain it, we must ask>b. and both the asker and
that asked for must be right with God.>c.  We can make sure
that we, the askers, are right with God by examining ourselves
in the Light of the Word and submitting to His Word as we
understand it.>d.  What better  way to make sure that what
you are asking is right than to pray scripture, to pray the
Bible's prayers for you and your loved ones.
       The subject of Spiritual warfare is examined first,
since some are not aware of what is involved in fighting for
our loved ones in the Lord.  That discussion is followed by
scripture-prayers for our unsaved loved ones.  Lastly  daily
prayers for  ourselves and our loved ones are offered.  I can't
think of better prayers than prayers inspired by God.  These
scripture prayers are adapted so that they are current church-
age prayers appropriate for the real life situations facing us
and our loved ones.  Pray on!

SPIRITUAL WARFARE
>I. WHO IS OUR ENEMY?
>>A. SATAN AND HIS DEMONS.
MKJV EPHESIANS 2: 1 � And He has made you alive, who
were once dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once
walked according to the course of this world, according to the
prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the
children of disobedience; . . .
MKJV EPHESIANS 6: 11 Put on the whole armor of God so
that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  12
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of
the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness
in high places.
>>B. SIN THAT DWELLS IN ME, EVIL AND THE LAW OF SIN IN
ME.
MKJV ROMANS 7:17 But now it is no more I that do it, but sin
that dwells in me. . . . 20 But if I do what I do not desire, it is
no more I working it out, but sin dwelling in me. 21 I find then
a law: when I will to do the right, evil is present with me. 22
For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man; 23
but
I see another law in my members, warring against the law of
my
mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin being in
my members.
>>C. MY OWN HEART AND UNDERSTANDING.
MKJV Matthew 15: 18 But the things which come out of the
mouth come from the heart, and they defile the man. 19 For
out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries,
fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies; 20 these are the
things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands
does not defile a man.
mkjv Prov. 5: 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean
not to your own understanding.
Prov. 16:25 � There is a way that seems right to a man, but
the end of it is the ways of death.
2 Corinthians 10: 5 pulling down imaginations and every high
thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and
bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of
Christ;
>>D. SOCIETY, THE WORLD AND ITS CULTURES AND SOCIAL
SYSTEMS.
MKJV 1John2: 15 Do not love the world, nor the things in the
world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not
in him, 16 because all that is in the world, the lust of the
flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the
Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passes away, and
the lust of it, but he who does the will of God abides forever.
Joh 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me
before it hated you.
1Jo 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
>>E. MY NATURAL BODY NOT IN SUBMISSION TO CHRIST, MY
FLESH AND ITS NATURAL AND UNREGENERATED DESIRES.
Lu 11:34 The light of the body is the eye. Therefore when your
eye     is sound, your whole body also is full of light. But when
your eye is evil, your body also is full of darkness.
Ro 6:6 knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him in
order that the body of sin might be destroyed, that from now
on we should not serve sin. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in
your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
Ro 8:10 And if Christ is in you, indeed the body is dead
because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
13 For if you live according to the flesh, you shall die. But if
you through the Spirit mortify the deeds of the body, you shall
live.
1Co 9:27 But I buffet my body, and lead it captive, lest
proclaiming to others I myself might be rejected.
Php 3:21 who shall change our body of humiliation so that it
may be fashioned like His glorious body, according to the
working of His power, even to subdue all things to Himself.
Col 2:11 in whom also you are circumcised with the
circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the
sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ,
Jas 3:2 For in many things we all offend. If anyone does not
offend in word, the same is a full-grown man, able also to
bridle the whole body.     6 And the tongue is a fire, a world
of iniquity. So the tongue is set among our members, spotting
all the body and inflaming the course of nature, and being
inflamed by hell.
Joh 1:13 who were born, not of bloods, nor of the will of the
flesh, nor of the will of man, but were born of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which
is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Ga 5:16 I say, then, Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfill
the lusts of the flesh.    19 Now the works of the flesh are
clearly revealed, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness,
lustfulness
Eph 2:3 among whom we also had our way of life in times past,
in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of
the thoughts, and were by nature the children of wrath, even
as others.

>II. WHAT ARE OUR WEAPONS?
>>A.  MKJV 2 Corinthians 10:3 For though walking about in
flesh, we do not war according to flesh.  4 For the weapons of
our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the
pulling down of strongholds,  5 pulling down imaginations and
every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of
God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the
obedience of Christ; 6 and having readiness to avenge all
disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

>>B. MKJV Ephesians 6: 12 For we do not wrestle against
flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against
spiritual wickedness in high places.  13 Therefore take to
yourselves THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD, that you may be
able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Therefore stand, having YOUR LOINS GIRDED ABOUT
WITH TRUTH, and having on THE BREASTPLATE OF
RIGHTEOUSNESS  15 and your FEET SHOD WITH THE
PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE.  16 Above all,
take the SHIELD OF FAITH, with which you shall be able to
quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.  17 And take THE
HELMET OF SALVATION, and THE SWORD OF THE
SPIRIT, which is the Word of God, 18 praying always with all
prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching to this
very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

>III. HOW DO WE FIGHT AGAINST THESE SPIRITUAL
FORCES?
>>A. We are said to "wrestle" against them and that it is He who
works in us to will to and actually wrestle against them, so we
know that using and relying on the Truth & His Word will
"free" you, even from the snares of the enemy 2 Timothy 2:
25,26   Joh 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth
shall make you free.
>>B. Our breastplate of righteousness is the righteousness of
Christ that He credits to our account 1 Cor. 1: 30 But of Him
you are in Christ Jesus, who of God is made to us wisdom and
righteousness and sanctification and redemption; . ..  It
consists of the righteousness which He works in us as we yield
to Him and let him work in us  Phil. 2:13 For it is God who
works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. . ..
Furthermore, it consists of the obedience to His Word that He
works in us by His Spirit Galatians 5:22-33 and 1 John 2:3,4,5.
Our hearts, our emotions, must be brought under His control,
and once under His control they must be protected by the
righteousness of Christ and His Word.
Ps 27:14 Hope in the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall
make your heart strong; yea, hope in the LORD.
Pr 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not to
your own understanding.
Pr 4:4 He also taught me, and said to me, Let your heart hold
fast my words, keep my commandments and live. 21 Let them
not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your
heart.   23 Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are
the issues of life.
Pr 23:19 My son, hear and be wise, and guide your heart in the
way.
Ro 10:9 Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe IN
YOUR HEART that God has raised Him from the dead, you
shall be saved.Jesus wants a full and rich emotional
relationship with your heart
 >>C. Fear is both a mind and a heart experience, needing
both the helmet of salvation as well as the breastplate of
righteousness.  You can't fight well when you are afraid, so His
peace delivers us from crippling and inhibiting fear Mt 10:28
And do not fear those who kill the body, but are not able to kill
the soul. But rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and
body in hell.    Joh 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I
give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not
your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  1Jo 4:18 There
is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear
has torment. He who fears has not been perfected in love.
>>D. Our faith in God and His Word, our shield, quenches and
deflects the attacks of the enemy Re 12:11 And they
overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of
their testimony; . . . Hebrews 11: 1 � Now faith is the
substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. . . . 6 But without
faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God
must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those
who diligently seek Him..  See what faith did in the lives of the
heroes in Hebrews 11.
>>E. The helmet of salvation: You have to make sure your
salvation.  You do this by examining and judging yourself
1 Corinth. 11:27-34.  You examine, prove and test
yourself to see if your really are in the faith 2
Corinthians 13:5.  Examine yourself to see if you are in
the faith walking in a manner pleasing and acceptable to
your Father and King.  If you aren't, judge and discipline
yourself in the way of the godly sorrow of 2 Corinth. 7.
This helmet of salvation protects your mind
2Ti 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, BUT
OF POWER AND OF LOVE AND OF A SOUND MIND.   Ro
12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, in order to
prove by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect
will of God.  3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to
every one who is among you, not to think of himself
more highly than he ought to think. But SET YOUR MIND TO
BE RIGHT-MINDED, even as God has dealt to every man the
measure of faith.
>>F. We have two offensive weapons. The first is the Word.
It is our overcoming  sword.   Re 12:11 And they
overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word
of their testimony; . . ..  It pierces the adversary
spiritually Heb. 4: 12* For the word of God is living and
powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing
even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the
joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and
intents of the heart.  We should exercise with this tool
Heb. 5:14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full
age, even those who because of use have their senses
exercised to discern both good and evil.  We should be
diligent in our sWORD fighting skills DBY 2 Tim. 2:15
Strive diligently to present thyself approved to God, a
workman that has not to be ashamed, cutting in a
straight line the word of truth.
>>G. Our second offensive weapon is prayer, not just
"prayer", but watchful, persevering, supplicating and
interceding prayer Eph.6, praise and thanksgiving Phil.
4:6,7,8. It is the fervent effectual prayer of the
righteous one who avails much James 5:16. A "righteous
one" is (1) one who asks according to the Word & will of
God 1John 5:14, 15; (2) one who is following His
instructions and doing those things that are pleasing in
His sight 1John3:22; and (3) one who wholly believes
and relies on the Name of Jesus Christ and
compassionately cherishes those who believe in
Jesus1Joh3:23.

Not just prayer, but fasting and prayer is the winning
combination.  On        what basis can this be maintained,
when a key verse for fasting in         spiritual warfare is said not
to be found in some ancient manuscripts?
Matthew 17:19 Then the disciples came to Jesus apart,
and said, Why could we not cast him out? 20 And Jesus
said to them, Because of your unbelief. For truly I say to
you, If you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you
shall say to this mountain, Move from here to there. And
it shall move. And nothing shall be impossible to you. 21
However, this kind does not go out except by
prayer and fasting.
       Personally I believe that verse 21 is found in the
best manuscripts, but even if you choose to discount
verse 21, you cannot discount the Biblical record of
prayer with fasting, the act of humbling oneself before
God, being a major weapon in our spiritual warfare
arsenal Ezra 8:31; Esther 4:15,16,17; Daniel 10;Isaiah
58; Matthew 6:17,18; 9:14-17; 13:58; Mark 2:20; 9:29
Acts 9:9; 13:2,3; 14:23; 27:21-23.  Fasting can range
from nothing to drink or eat for three days (Esther 4:15-
17), to the working person's fast of no "tasty", "choice"
or sweet foods, no "pleasant bread", no meat and no
alcoholic beverages for three weeks (Daniel 10:1-5).
Fasting by itself without prayer is just a crash diet and
is meaningless spiritually.  Jesus and the Bible make it
plain that fasting is only effective when coupled with
intense, fervent and persevering prayer.  That could
mean, as in the case of the working person's (Daniel's )
fast, that even though you continue working full time,
the time that you would normally have spent on
recreation or entertainment or fixing your regular food
would instead be spent in prayer.
      The fact that most Christians don't experience the
miraculous, answered prayers and a dramatic awareness
of the reality of God's presence in their lives, is
precisely because they have never entered into a prayer
and fasting relationship with God.  Personally it was a
major turning point in my life when I went on Queen
Esther's three day fast of no food, no drink and no
distractions (no phone, radio, TV, work, chores etc.) with
fervent prayer.

>IV. IS THERE A PRECEDENT FOR THIS WARFARE?
>>A. Remember the miraculous release of the apostles from
prison as the saints prayed Acts 5:17-21, the
miraculous spiritual release of the Ethiopian eunuch
Acts 8:26-36 who prayed for help, the miraculous
answer to Cornelious' prayer Acts 10 & 11, the
miraculous release of Peter from prison as the saints
prayed Acts 12:5-15, Paul and Silas' miraculous release
from prison as they prayed and praised God Acts 16:25.
>>B. Remember that God used the prayer and praise of His
people to bring down the walls of Jericho, to enable
Gideon's small band to win the battle, that gave the
battle to Jehosophat without the loss of life 2
Chron.20:20-22.  The miraculous deliverance of Mordecai
and Esther, and the mighty revelation of Daniel 10 were
both the result of God's response to prayer and fasting.
There are many many more.
>>C. Then there is my personal experience that confirms
prayer and fasting with fervent prayer as mighty
weapons for spiritual warfare.
In the late 60's or early 70's I was on the phone
comforting a Christian sister who was frightened and
oppressed by the spiritual attacks of her former lover
and practicing sorcerer.  It was a hot summer night in
Pasadena/Altadena so I had my doors open as I was
talking on the phone with her.  I was encouraging and
exhorting her but I was unsure of the reality of these
spiritual attacks.  Suddenly my hot little cottage became
as cold as inside a refrigerator, as did hers @7 miles
away.  Simultaneously we both sensed great evil in the
chilling cold and we were quite tempted to feel
frightened as our skin began to crawl the hair on my body
began to rise.  Immediately I recognized this as a
spiritual attack so I began to praise, thank and worship
God out loud, asking Him to deliver us from this evil and
rebuke it in the Name of Jesus.  Within a few minutes the
chill was gone from both our houses and the presence of
evil was no longer felt, for days afterward.
       My high school girl friend's mother was a
sorceress, invoking her demon to make things float
across the room, doors to slam, working the OUIJI board
without touching the pointer,  and other sideshow tricks.
My brother is a practicing New Age sorcerer who invokes
the demons (he calls them spirit guides) and lets them
speak through him or use his finger tips to roll up steel
and silver bars.  One day my birth family was gathered
for lunch and my sister, Cindy, asked by brother, Randy,
to do a Tarot card reading for her.  Then she saw my
reaction of disgust, apologized and said she would forget
about it if it bothered me.  I told her it was her decision
and her life but I warned her of God's condemnation of
this kind of divination.  I began to pray fervently, looking
over the lake and praying all the spiritual warfare
prayers I knew and asking God to turn this incident
upside down and around to His glory.  Saying nothing but
praying fervently, I watched my brother carefully and
slowly begin to put the Tarot card down.   Soon he began
to shake his head in bewilderment.  Then he said that he
had never before seen anything like this happen.  When he
finished he declared to his amazement that every card he
put down was laying in such a way that it reversed the
meaning of each card (e.g. the death card became the life
card) and the message he had "from the cards" for my
sister was that she was doing wrong, that if she didn't
start doing what was right, then judgment and
tribulation would befall her.  I praised God for allowing
the Tarot cards to rebuke her and call her to repentance.
I told her doing what was right included yielding to and
obeying Jesus Christ.  So the Lord answered my prayer
and redeemed the whole experience, much to my sorcerer
bother's amazement.
FIGHT THE ENEMIES OF YOUR SOUL THIS WAY, AND
FEAR NOT AND BE OF GOOD COURAGE FOR THE
BATTLE IS THE LORD'S.

EVERYDAY PRAISE HIM for the who He is to you, what He has
done for you and why you love HIM.
EVERYDAY THANK HIM for your life, your new life, your health,
your daily bread, your work, dwelling, job, ministries, etc, etc,
EVERYDAY WORSHIP HIM, lifting your hands in adoration, song
and praise.

EVERYDAY PRAYERS FOR OURSELVES AND OUR
BACKSLIDDEN &/OR UNSAVED LOVED ONES
Merciful God, I claim your promise that as many as You love,
You rebuke and chasten>1.    May You LORD rebuke the evil
ones in our lives! >2.      Please reprove the unfruitful works of
righteousness in our lives.>3.     Please cause Your faithful
word, according to Your doctrine,  both to exhort and to
convict the  gainsayers I bring before You.>4.   Please through
Love entreat them that they may know You.>5.    Have mercy
on us, O God, according to Your loving-kindness; according to
the multitude of Your tender mercies, blot out our
transgressions.  Wash us completely from our iniquity, and
cleanse us from our sin. Purge us with hyssop, and we shall be
clean; wash us, and we shall be whiter than snow.  Hide Your
face from our sins, and blot out all our iniquities. Create in us a
clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.   Cast us
not away from the joy of Your presence, and take not the
blessings of Your Holy Spirit from us.  Please give us a broken
spirit; a heart broken and a contrite , grieving with the Spirit,
over the sin in our lives, O God.>6.
Father, I pray in Jesus' Name that Jesus, the Lord of Glory,
bind, rebuke, strike with confusion and frustration, confound,
and bind away (from all that I bring before you)  the evil
powers, rulers of darkness, evil principalities, spiritual hosts
of wickedness and antiChrists that are involved in the lives of
myself, those that I bring before You and all our loved ones;
nullifying, voiding, destroying and turning upside down the
ways and wicked devices of the evil ones, delivering us from
all their evil to your glory, honor and praise in Jesus>a.

EVERYDAY PRAYERS FOR OURSELVES, ALL OF OUR LOVED
ONEs AND THEIR LOVED ONES.
My Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your Name, Your Kingdom
come, Your will be done in the bodies, souls, spirits, thoughts,
words, deeds, work, rest and play of the following and their
loved ones: My children, my wives, my loved ones, my
parents/relatives, all those I bring before You in my prayers,
all those in authority over me, and all those in my sphere of
influence.  Your will be done on earth in our lives as it is done
in Heaven, for Your alone are the God who forever is Unselfish
and compassionate cherishing, Truth, Light and the Way---so to
You be the power, the glory, the honor and the praise for ever.

I thank You for and accept Your salvation in Jesus Christ.
Please be merciful to me a sinner, having unclean lips,
ungodliness, uncleanness, trespasses, transgressions, iniquity,
error, sins of omission and commission in my body, soul, spirit,
thoughts, words, work, rest and play.  I trust only Jesus and His
finished work to save me from the power, presence and
penalty of my sins.

I pray that the Lord Jesus Christ confound, bind, rebuke, cast
into outer darkness or some bottomless pit, strike with
confusion and frustration, destroy and turn upside down the
way and ways of the evil powers, principalities, rulers of
darkness, spiritual hosts of wickedness and antiChrists that are
involved in the lives of my loved ones, their loved ones and all
those that I bring before you in prayer.

Cause my whole heart to be at rest, trusting You.  Keep me
from leaning and relying on my own
understanding/thinking/reasoning/intelligence.#1.
Daily deliver me from effects and affects of the sin that dwells
in me, from the law of sin that works in my body.#2.
Deliver me from what seems right to me, and deliver me to
what IS right to You.#3.
Please pull down imaginations and every high thing in my life
that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bring into
captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ.#3
Deliver me for loving/liking/delighting in the social systems
and societies that belong to this world, that are not centered in
You and based on Your Word.#4.
Thank You that my old man is crucified with You.  Please
destroy the body of sins of the flesh, its lusts and the reign of
sin in my mortal body.#5.
Through Your Spirit work in me to mortify the deeds of my
body and keep me from living according to my flesh/body.#6.
Buffet my body, and lead it captive that You may work and be
glorified in it.#7.
Please purify my lips with Your holy fire and guard my lips by
your Spirit, working in me so that I do no offend in word.#8.
I beseech You that You work in me Your deliverance from the
will of my flesh, the will of man, the works of my flesh, the evil
desires of my flesh and my own thoughts,#9.


PRAYERS FOR OUR LOVED ONES ON A DAILY BASIS
SUNDAY PRAYERS:
For You LORD are a great God, and a great King above all
gods.   In Your hand is the deep places of the earth; the
strength of the hills is also Yours.  The sea is Yours, and
You made it, and Your hands formed the dry land.
Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before
You LORD our Maker.
       � For You are our God, and we are the people of
Your pasture, and the sheep of Your hand. >40.
For You LORD are great, and greatly to be praised; You
are to be feared above all gods.   For all the gods of the
nations are idols; but You LORD made the heavens.   Honor
and majesty are before You; strength and beauty are in
Your sanctuary.   You LORD reign; and the world shall be
established; it shall not be moved; You shall judge the peoples
in uprightness for You come, for You come to judge the
earth; You shall judge the world with righteousness, and the
people with Your truth.>41.
       Clouds and darkness are all around You;
righteousness and judgment are the foundation of Your
throne.    A fire goes before You and burns up Your enemies
round about.    Your lightnings lit up the world; the earth saw
and trembled.    The hills melted like wax at the presence of
You LORD, at the presence of You LORD of the whole
earth.    The heavens declare Your righteousness, and all the
people see Your glory. >42.
        You have done marvelous things; Your right hand and
Your holy arm has saved for You.  You Lord have made
known Your salvation and your righteousness. You have
unveiled the eyes of the nations.    You have remembered
Your mercy and Your truth toward the house of Israel; all
the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of You our
GOD.>43.
        You LORD reign; let the peoples tremble. You sit
between the cherubs; let the earth quake.    You LORD are
great in Zion; and You are high above all the peoples.    Let
them praise Your great and fearful name; it is holy.    The
king's strength also loved judgment.   You established
uprightness.  You worked judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
We praise You LORD our God, and worship at Your
footstool.   You are holy.  Your servants kept Your
testimonies and the ordinance that You gave them.   You
answered them, O LORD our God.  You were a God who
forgave them, though You take vengeance for their deeds.    I
praise You LORD our God, and worship at Your holy hill;
for You the LORD our God are holy.>44.

Your anger, nor chasten them in the heat of Your fury.>9.
May You, the LORD our God,  hear the words of those who
would deceive and mislead those I bring before you, those who
reproach the living God, and reprove their words which You,
O LORD  our God, have heard.>10.
Make their own evil correct them, make their backslidings
reprove them, and may they know and see that it is an evil
and bitter thing to forsake You, the LORD our God>11. O
Lord, please rebuke their pride in the fruits of their labor and
spread dung upon their public image so they may see the
foulness their sin and unbelief.>12.  O LORD  send on them
vexation, and rebuke, in all that they set their hand to do, until

Father in Heaven, may Your name be hallowed, your kingdom
come and your will be done in our lives.  Please, Father----
1.Save, deliver and preserve us from the power, presence and
penalty of our sins
2. Supply our daily bread to meet our needs and  for us to
share
3. Give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge
of You.
4. Enlighten the eyes of our understanding, so that we may
know (a) what  is the hope of your calling, (b) what are the
riches of the glory of Your inheritance in us, and (c) the
vastness of the resources of Your power to those who trust
You according to the working of Your mighty power.
5.Cause my whole heart to be at rest, trusting You.  Keep me
from leaning and relying on my own
understanding/thinking/reasoning/intelligence.#1.

       Please hear my prayer, O God, especially with reference
to the USSR, India, the Chinese communist oppression, the
African & Moslem persecutions, the communist oppression of
the Church; the abortion slaughter, the illegal drug trade, the
sinful �pornography�; the Politician�s, NEA-CTA�s, New
Agers�, secular humanists�, Gays�/lesbians�, collegian's and
any other persecution or oppression of innocent blood, Your
children and the Church.
       If it is Your will God may You soon and eventually give
the people who oppose You and Your truth  acknowledgment
of the truth,   and  may they awake up to life in Jesus out of
the
snare of the devil, who are taken by him, for *his* will.>45.
        Strive, O Jehovah, with the evil spiritual principalities,
powers, rulers of darkness, spiritual hosts of wickedness and
the spirits of antichrist that strive with us; fight against
them that fight against us:   Take hold of shield and buckler,
and stand up for our help;   And draw out the spear, and stop
the way against our pursuers. Say unto our souls, "I am your
salvation."   Let them be put to shame and confounded that
seek after our lives. Let them be turned backward and brought
to confusion that devise our hurt.  Let them be as chaff before
the wind, and let the angel of Jehovah drive them away.   Let
their way be dark and slippery, and let the angel of Jehovah
pursue them.   For without cause have they hidden for us their
net in a pit. Without cause they have dug it for our souls.
Let destruction come upon their ways unawares, and let their
net which they have hidden catch them. For destruction let
their ways fall therein.   Our souls shall be joyful in You,
Jehovah.  We shall rejoice in Your salvation.   All our bones
shall say, "Jehovah, who is like unto You, who delivers the
afflicted from one stronger than he, yea, the afflicted and the
needy from him that spoils him!"
        Unrighteous witnesses rise up. They lay to our charge
things which we know not.  They reward us evil for good, to
the bereavement of our souls.
       Lord, how long will You look on? Rescue our souls from
their destructions, our only ones from the young lions.   We
will give You  thanks in the great congregation. We will praise
You among much people.   Let not them that are wrongfully
our enemies rejoice over us.  Let them not wink with the eye
that hate us without cause.  For they speak not peace; and they
devise deceitful words against the quiet in the land.  They
opened their mouths wide against us. They said, "Aha! aha! our
eye hath seen it."   You have seen it, Jehovah.  Keep not
silence; O Lord, be not far from us.  Stir up Yourself please for
our cause, our God and Lord!
       Let them not rejoice over us.   Let them not say in their
heart, "Aha! So would we have it." Let them not say, "We have
swallowed them up."   Let them be ashamed and brought to
confusion together that rejoice at our adversity.  Let them be
clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify themselves
against us.>46.
       Let not the foot of pride come against us, and let not the
hand of the wicked drive us away.>47.

       I worship You, LORD, with gladness.  I come before Your
presence with singing.    I know that You, LORD, You are God.
You have made me, and not I myself. I am of Your people, and
the sheep of His pasture.  I enter into Your gates with
thanksgiving, and into Your courts with praise for all that I
am and have is from You in Your great grace and mercy.  I
thank you for all the many blessings you have given to me and
I
bless Your name for them.  You are good and Your mercy is
everlasting.  Your truth endures to all generations.>48.
        Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me,
bless His holy name.    Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget
not all His benefits;who forgives all our iniquities; who heals
all our diseases;    who redeems our lives from ruin; who
crowns us with loving-kindness and tender mercies;   who
satisfies our mouth with good; our youth is renewed like the
eagle's.
        You ,LORD, work righteousness and judgment for all
who are pressed down.   You made known Your ways to
Moses, Your acts to the sons of Israel. You, LORD, are
merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and rich in mercy. You
will not always chasten, nor will You keep Your anger
forever.    You have not dealt with me according to my sins, nor
rewarded me according to my iniquities.  For as the heavens
are high above the earth, so is Your mercy toward those who
fear You.   As far as the east is from the west, so far have
You removed our transgressions from us.   As a father pities his
children, You pity those who fear You.   For You know my
form.  You remember that I am dust.  As for me, my days
are
as grass; as a flower of the field, so I flourish.   For the wind
passes over it, and it is gone; and its place shall know it no
more.   But Your mercy, O LORD, is from everlasting to
everlasting on those who fear You, and Your righteousness is
to sons of sons;   to those who keep Your covenant, and to those
who remember to do Your commandments.
       O LORD, You have prepared Your throne in the heavens,
and Your kingdom rules over all.  20  Bless the LORD, O angels
of His, who excel in strength, who do His command, listening
to the voice of His word.  21  Bless the LORD, all His hosts,

Burn their idols with fire and cut them down. Cause their idols

Please do judgment against all their sin, and  rebuke all the

antichrist  have spoken against us with a lying tongue,   And
with words of hatred have they encompassed us, and they fight
against us  without a cause.   For our  love of You they are our
adversaries, but we  give ourselves  unto prayer.   And evil
doers have rewarded us  evil for good, and hatred for our
love of You.  When they shall be judged, let them go out
guilty,   Let the wicked ones be before Jehovah continually,
that He may cut off the memory of them from the earth,
because they remembered not to show kindness, but
persecuted the afflicted and needy , and the broken in heart, to
slay them.   And they loved cursing.  So let it come unto
them. And they delighted not in blessing, and let it be far from
them.  And they clothed themselves with cursing like
their vestment.   So let it come into their bowels like water, and
like oil into their bones.  Let it be unto them as a garment with
which they cover themselves, and for a girdle wherewith
they are constantly girded.   Let this be the reward of our
spiritual adversaries, Jehovah's reward, and of them that
speak evil against our souls.
       But do *You* for us, Jehovah, Lord, for Your name's
sake, because Your loving-kindness is good.  Deliver us for
we are afflicted and needy, and our heart is wounded within
us.   We are gone like a shadow when it lengthens.   We are
tossed about like the locust.  Our knees are failing through
fasting, and our flesh has lost its fatness  and we are
become a reproach unto them.  When they look upon us they
shake their heads.  Help us, Jehovah our God.  Save us
according to Your loving-kindness so that they may know that
this is Your hand, that *You*, Jehovah, have done it.   When
they curse us, may You bless us.   When they rise up, let them
be ashamed, and let Your servants  rejoice.   Let our
adversaries be clothed with confusion, and let them cover
themselves with their shame as with a mantle.   We will
greatly celebrate You, Jehovah, with our mouths.  Yea, We
will praise You among the multitude.   For You stand at the
right hand of the needy, to save them from those that judge

        Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, You are
very great. You have put on honor and majesty,    covering
Yourself with light as with a robe, and stretching out the
heavens like a curtain.  O LORD, how many are Your works! In
wisdom You have made them all.  The earth is full of Your
riches.    There is the great and wide sea, in which are
creeping things without number, both small and great animals.
There the ships go.  You made  great sea animals to play in it.
These all wait on You, that You may give them their food in
due season.    You give to them, and they gather.  You open
Your hand.  They are filled with good.    You hide Your face,
and they are troubled.   You take away their breath, and they
die and return to their dust.   You send forth Your Spirit, and
they are created. You renew the face of the earth.>51.
         You are the LORD our God.  Your judgments are in all
the earth.  You have remembered Your covenant forever, the
word which You commanded to a thousand generations.>52.
          I give thanks to You, LORD, for You are good,  for Your
mercy endures forever.  Enable me, redeemed by You LORD,
to say so.  You have redeemed me from the hand of the
enemy,   and gathered me out of the land.   I wandered in a
spiritual wilderness, in a desert by the way and I did not find
Your holy city.   Spiritually hungry and thirsty, my soul fainted

Then I cried to You, LORD, in my distress, and You delivered
me out of my troubles.  You guided me by the right way, so as
to
go to Your city to live in.  I praise You, LORD, for Your
goodness, and for Your wonderful works to the sons of man!
For You satisfy the thirsty soul, and fill the hungry soul with
good.>53.
         Your works, O LORD are great, sought out by all those
who have pleasure in them. Your work is honorable and
glorious, and Your righteousness is standing forever.  You
have made Your wonderful works to be remembered.  LORD,
You are gracious and full of pity.  You have given food to those
who fear You.  You will always be mindful of Your covenants.
       You have shown Your people the power of Your works,
to give to them the inheritance of the nations.   The works of
Your hands are truth and judgment.  All Your commands are
true,   standing fast forever and ever.  They are done in truth
and uprightness. You sent redemption to Your people.   You
have commanded Your covenant forever.  Holy and awesome
is Your name.>54,

 O God please rebuke those who would cause us to sin, and
cause them to flee far off, chasing them like the chaff of the
mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the

Send your devourer on their sin, decay the fruit of their sin
against them, and cause their evil plans to miscarry against
them until they turn to You in obedient belief.>21. May Jesus
rebuke the evil ones in their lives, saying, "Be quiet and come
out of them, not harming them.">22.  Please convict them
sharply, so that they may be sound in the faith>23.  Please
reprove their lawbreaking, holding them back from the
madness of their sins.>24.   Do judgment against their sin and
unbelief, and rebuke all the ungodly of them concerning all

cherishing so that we may know what is the breadth, length,
height and depth of Christ's compassionate cherishing, and so
be filled  with all of Your fullness.
9. Prosper us in all good things and grant us good health.
10. Grant us the right words when we speak for You, that we
may boldly and freely speak, making known Your hidden
purpose.
11. Deliver me from what seems right to me, and deliver me to

secret at Your perfect ones.  Suddenly do they shoot at us, and
fear not.
       But You, God, will shoot an arrow at the evil spiritual
principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, spiritual hosts of
wickedness and the spirits of antichrist.  Suddenly are they
wounded.  By their own tongue they are made to fall over one
another.  All that see them shall flee away, and all men shall
fear, and shall declare God's doing, and they shall wisely
consider His work.   The righteous shall rejoice in You,
Jehovah, and trust in You, and all the upright in heart shall
glory in You.>56.
        In You, Jehovah, do we trust.  Let us  never be ashamed.
Deliver us  in Your righteousness, and rescue us.  Incline Your
ear unto us, and save us.   Be to us  a rock of habitation,
whereunto we may continually resort.  You have given
commandment to save us, for You are our rock and our
fortress.  Our Father God, rescue us  out of the hand of the
wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel people.
For You are our hope, O Lord Jehovah, our confidence from
our youth. We have been as a wonder unto many, but You are
our strong refuge.   Cast us  not off in the time of old age, and
forsake us  not when our strength fails.   For our enemies speak
against us, and they that watch for our souls consult together,
saying,  �God has forsaken them.  Pursue and seize them, for
there is none to deliver.�  O God, be not far from us.  God our
Father, hasten to our help.   Cause them to be ashamed, and
cause them to be consumed, that are adversaries to our souls.
Cause them to be covered with reproach and dishonor that
seek our hurt.   We will go in the might of You, Lord Jehovah.
We will recall Your righteousness, Yours alone.  O God, You
have taught us  from our youth, and hitherto have we
proclaimed Your marvelous works.   Now also, when we are
old and greyheaded, O God, forsake us  not, until we have
proclaimed Your arm unto this generation, Your might to
every one that is to come.  Your righteousness, O God, reaches
on high, You who have done great things.  O God, who is like
unto You?   You, who have shown us many and sore troubles,
will revive us again, and wilt bring us up again from the depths
of the earth.  You wilt increase our greatness, and comfort us

Wednesday################################
       You, LORD, are high above all nations, and Your glory
above the heavens.   Who is like You, LORD our God, who
dwells on high,   who humbles Yourself to behold the things
in the heavens and in the earth!?
You raise up the poor out of the dust, and lift the needy out of
the dunghill,    in order to make him sit with nobles, with the
nobles of his people.    You cause the barren to dwell in the
house as a joyful mother of sons. Praise You, LORD!>58.
        Gracious are You, LORD, and righteous! Yea, You, our
God, are merciful.  You, LORD, keep the simple.   I was
brought low, and You helped me.    My soul may return to its
rest, for You, Lord, have dealt bountifully with me.    For You
have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my
feet
from falling.    I will walk before You, LORD, in the land of the
living.>59.
       You, LORD, are my keeper.  You, LORD, are the shade
on my right hand.   The sun shall not strike me by day, nor the
moon by night. You, LORD, shall keep me from all evil ones.
You shall keep my soul.  You, LORD, shall keep my going out
and my coming in from this time forth, and even forever-
more.>60.
       For I know that You, LORD, are great, and You are
above all gods.    Every thing You pleased, You did in the
heavens and in earth, and in the seas and all deep places. You
cause the vapors to rise from the end of the earth. You make
lightnings for the rain.  You bring wind out of Your
storehouses.>61.

O LORD, You have searched me and have known me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up.  You understand
my thought afar off.    You search my path and my lying down,
and are acquainted with all my ways.    For there is not a
word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, You know it altogether.
You have closed me in behind and in front, and laid Your hand
on me.    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me.  It is high,
and I cannot go up to it.
       Where shall I go from Your Spirit? Or where shall I flee
from Your presence?   If I go up into Heaven, You are there.  If
I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.    If I take the
wings of the morning and dwell in the furthest parts of the
sea,  even there shall Your hand lead me, and Your right hand
shall hold me.   If I say, "Surely the darkness shall cover me",
even the night shall be light around me.   Yea, the darkness
does not hide me from You, but the night shines as the day.
As is the darkness, so is the light to You.   For You have
possessed my inward parts.   You have covered me in my
mother's womb.  I will praise You, for I am fearfully and
wonderfully made.   Your works are marvelous and my soul
knows it very well.   My bones were not hidden from You
when I was made in secret and skillfully formed in the lowest
parts of the earth.   Your eyes saw my embryo, and in Your
book all my members were written, even the days that were
ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.  My
times are in you hand.>63.   How precious also are Your
thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!  If I
should count them, they are more than the sand.  When I
awake, I am still with You.>62.

devouring words, O deceitful tongues! 5  You shall likewise
destroy them for ever who will not to be saved.  You shall take
them away, and pluck them out of their tent, and root them
out of the land of the living. Selah.
       The righteous also shall see, and fear, ... saying,
"Behold the man that made not God his strength, but put
confidence in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened
himself in his avarice."   But as for us, The Bride of Christ, we
are like a green olive-tree in the house of God.   We will
confide in Your loving-kindness for ever and ever.   We will
praise you for ever, because you have done it, and we will
wait on your Name, before your godly ones, for it is good.>65.
       Make haste, O God, to deliver us.  Jehovah, hasten to
our help.   Let the evil spiritual principalities, powers, rulers of
darkness, spiritual hosts of wickedness and the spirits of
antichrist  be ashamed and brought to confusion that seek
after our souls.  Cause them to be turned backward and
confounded that take pleasure in our adversity.  Cause them be
turned back because of their shame that say, "Aha! Aha!"
Cause all those that seek You to be glad and rejoice in You.
Cause such as love your salvation to say continually, "Let God
be magnified!"  But we are afflicted and needy.   Make haste
unto us, O God. You are my help and my deliverer. O Jehovah,
make no delay.>66.
       We will praise Your name O God with a song, and will
magnify You with thanksgiving, and it shall please You,
Jehovah...   The meek shall see it, and they shall be glad.  We
that seek You, God, our heart shall live, for You, Jehovah, hear

Thursday

       Blessed are You, LORD my Rock, who teaches My hands
for spiritual warfare, my fingers for battling the evil ones. You
are my goodness and my fortress, my high tower and my
deliverer, and my shield.   You, in whom I trust, are the One
who works humble submission in my people under me.>70.
       You, Lord, are gracious and full of pity, slow to anger,
and of great mercy.  You, Lord, are good to all, and Your
tender mercies are over all Your works.
       All Your works shall praise You, O LORD, and Your
saints shall bless You.   They shall speak of the glory of Your
kingdom and talk of Your power,   to make known to the sons
of men Your mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of Your
kingdom.   Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your
rule endures throughout all generations.   You, my Lord,
uphold all who fall, and raise up all those who wait on You
who are bowed down.   The eyes of all wait on You, and You
give them their food in due season.  You open Your hand and
satisfy the desire of every living thing.   You, Lord, are
righteous in all Your ways and holy in all Your works.   LORD,
You are near all those who call on You, all those who call on
You in truth.   You will fulfill the desire of those who fear You.
You also will hear their cry, and will save them.   LORD, You
watch over all those who love You, but You will destroy all the
wicked.>71.
       We are blessed who have You, the God of Jacob, for our
help, we whose help is in You, LORD  our God,   who made
the heavens and earth, the sea and all that is in it, who keeps
truth forever,  who carries out judgment for the
mistreated, and who gives food to the hungry. Lord, You let the
prisoners loose.  Lord, You open the eyes of the blind.  LORD,
You raise those who are bowed down.  You, LORD, love the
righteous  and preserve the strangers.   You relieve the orphan

       O God, break the teeth of the evil spiritual
principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, spiritual hosts of

Break out the great teeth of these young lions, O Jehovah.   Let
them melt away as waters that flow off.  When they aim  their
arrows, let them be as blunted:...  And men shall say, "Verily
there is fruit for the righteous.  Verily there is a God that
Judges in the earth.">74.
       O God, keep not silence.  Hold not your peace, and be not
still, O God, for behold, Your enemies make a tumult, and they
that hate you lift up the head.   They take crafty counsel
against your people, and consult against your hidden ones.
They say, "Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation,
and let the name of Israel be mentioned no more."   For they
have consulted together with one heart.  They have made an
alliance together against You.
       Do unto the evil powers, principalities, rulers of
darkness and spirits of antiChrist as to Midian, as to Sisera,
as to Jabin, at the torrent of Kishon.  Make their nobles as Oreb
and as Zeeb, and all their chiefs as Zebah and as Zalmunna.   O
my God, make them like a whirling thing, like stubble before
the wind.   As fire burns a forest, and as the flame sets the
mountains on fire, so pursue them with Your tempest, and
terrify them with Your whirlwind.   Fill their faces with
shame, that people may seek Your name, O Jehovah.   Cause
them be put to shame and be dismayed for ever who will not
to be saved, and let them be confounded and perish,  that all
may know that You alone, whose name is Jehovah, are the Most
High over all the earth.>75.
       Yea, the evil spiritual principalities, powers, rulers of
darkness, spiritual hosts of wickedness and the spirits of
antiChrist  gave us  gall for our food, and in our thirst they
gave us  vinegar to drink.   Cause their table to become a snare
before them, and their very welfare a trap.  Cause their eyes to
be darkened, that they see not, and make their loins
continually to shake.  Pour out Your indignation upon them, and
let the fierceness of Your anger take hold of them.   Cause their
habitation to be desolate.  Cause  there to be no dweller in
their tents.   For they persecute those whom *You* have
smitten, and they talk of the sorrow of those whom You have
wounded in Your promised chastening.  But we are afflicted
and sorrowful.  Cause Your salvation, O God, to set us  secure

       �Jesus, You are the fairest of the sons of men.  Grace is
poured into Your lips, therefore Your Father God has blessed
You forever.   Gird Your sword on Your thigh, O mighty one,

righteousness, and Your right hand shall teach You fearful
things.  Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the King's
enemies.  Peoples fall under You.
        Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; the staff of
Your kingdom is a staff of righteousness.  You love
righteousness, and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your
Father God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above
Your fellows.  All Your garments smell of myrrh, and aloes
and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, by which they have made
You glad.   Kings' daughters are among Your precious ones,

our head.  We have gone through fire and through water, but
You have brought us out to plenty.
        I will go into Your house with  thank-offerings.  I will
pay You my vows, those which my lips have uttered and
those which my lips have uttered and my mouth has spoken
in my trouble.  I will offer to You the sacrifice of praise and
substance, with  the incense of prayer. I will offer to you all
the best that I have and am. Selah.   To all who fear You, God,
I will declare what You have done for my soul.  I cried to You
with my mouth, and exaltations were under my tongue.  If I
regard iniquity in my heart, I know that You, LORD, will not
listen to me.  Surely You, God, have heard.  You have attended
to the voice of my prayer. You are blessed, O God, who have not
turned away my prayer, nor Your mercy from me.>83.
       In Your holy dwelling God, You are the father of the
fatherless, and the judge of the widows. You cause the lonely
to live at home.  You bring out those who are bound with
chains, but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
       O God, when You marched before Your people, when
You walked through the wilderness, Selah, the earth shook, the
heavens also dropped at the presence of You, God.   Sinai itself
was moved at Your presence, O God of Israel.  You, O God,
sent a plentiful rain, by which You upheld Your inheritance
when it was weary.  Your flock has dwelt in it. You, O God, have
prepared in Your goodness for the poor.   Your chariots, O God
are myriads, thousands of thousands.  Lord, You are among
them, in Sinai, in the holy place.  You have gone up on high.
You have led captivity captive.   You have received gifts for
men, yes, for the rebellious also, that You might dwell among
them, O Jehovah God.    Blessed are You, LORD.   You daily
bear burdens for us, O God of our salvation. Selah. You, God, are
the God of salvation, and to the LORD are the issues of death.
Yea, You shall wound the head of Your enemies, and the hairy
crown of him who walks on in his guilt.>84.
       Give the Messiah King Your judgments, O God, and
Your righteousness to the King's son.    The Lord Jesus Christ
will judge Your people in righteousness, and Your poor with
judgment.  The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and
the little hills by righteousness.  He shall judge the poor of the
people.   He shall save the children of the needy, and shall
crush in pieces the cruel one.  They shall fear You as long as
the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.
        He shall come down like rain on the mown grass, like
showers that water the earth.  In His days the righteous shall
flourish; and abundance of peace, until the moon is not.  He
shall also have the rule from sea to sea, and from the River to
the ends of the earth.  Those who dwell in the wilderness shall
bow before Him, and His enemies shall lick the dust.   The
kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents.  The
kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.  Yes, all kings shall
fall down before Him, and all nations shall serve Him.  For He
shall deliver the needy when he cries, and the poor with no
helper.   He shall have pity on the poor and needy and shall
save the souls of the needy.   He shall redeem their soul from
deceit and violence, and their blood shall be precious in His
sight.  And He shall live forever, and to Him shall be given the
gold of Sheba, and prayer shall always be made for Him. They
shall bless Him all the day long. There shall be a fullness of
grain in the earth on the top of the mountains.  Its fruit shall
shake like Lebanon, and they of the city shall flourish like grass
of the earth. His name shall endure forever.   His name shall be
continued as long as the sun, and men shall be blessed in Him.
All nations shall call Him blessed.
        Blessed are You, LORD God, the God of Israel, who
alone does wonderful things, And blessed be Your glorious
name forever, and all the earth is filled with Your glory! Amen

us, O God of Israel.  Because for Your sake we have borne
reproach, and confusion has covered our faces.   For the zeal of

       But as for us, our prayer is unto You, Jehovah, in an
acceptable time.  O God, in the abundance of Your loving-

Deliver us  out of the mire. Cause us  not to sink.  Cause us  to

waters the masses.   Let not the flood of waters the masses

the pit shut its mouth upon us.   Answer us, O Jehovah, for Your
loving-kindness is good.  According to the abundance of Your
tender mercies, turn toward us, and hide not Your face from
Your servants, for we are in trouble.  Answer us  speedily.
Draw nigh unto our souls, be our redeemer, and ransom us
because of our enemies.  *You* know our reproach, and our
shame, and our dishonor.  Our spiritual adversaries are all
before You.   Reproach has broken our heart, and we are
overwhelmed.  We looked for sympathy, but there was none
but You.  We looked for comforters, but we found none but You.
All we need is You. We can do all things through Christ Who

time each day that we were offering such prayers, in whatever
part of the world we were in? Do you think there might be any
sympathy with such a suggestion? This is partly selfish, I
admit, since we have no-one of similar life-style with
whom to pray, but I really believe all would benefit
enormously. "The prayers of a multitude...." Perhaps we could
