c2. Summum Bonum
Behold in the coming of the Lord
And righteousness thereof;
Remember the holy naming
And the ascension of the Dove.
Ye who are wise shall
Inherit glory:
But shame shall
Be the promotion of fools. *2
Those who would desecrate
The Divine Creation
Would as easily perpetrate
Their imperishable soul to Hades' nation.
As the prism upon the prison wall
Or the crystal globe in a velvet hall
Is like a vision --
Even a revelation from the Prince of Lights,
The one who knows all;
Seek ye first the Kingdom of God
And his holiness;
For then shall all Elysium
Be added unto you. *3

Tales of Ayelsfarn, 1986."
2 - "Ye who ... of fools": Proverbs 3:35.
3 - "Seek ye ... unto you": paraphrased from Matthew 6:33 and Luke 12:31.
