c2. A shell of sorrow
I may often cry the lonely one's tear
And fear the one thing most terrible to fear
For here I am cast within by an unfair demon
Cursed by fate to remain within
For a thousand eternities, a day and tomorrow
I know I must remain inside a shell of sorrow!
This mind is far beyond
Either before or behind
Its intended time!
And I along with it am cursed to tribulation
To scream for its undoing with unimaginable frustration
To no avail, to suffer as long as the duration!
I swear at the fates that dealt this sad tale
And ponder of the meaning to it all
Even knowing that no-one really cares as long as I fall
And remain lost forever to the roots of my soul.
Just as the demons stand guard over my lonely hole
I know I must remain inside a shell of sorrow!
