c2. Query upon first sight
Crystalline shards of ineffable beauty
Purged from previous destiny, though
Still waiting to begin this endless Journey
Of answers to mysteries yet unsought.
A crime it is to those who seek,
Whilst thoughts abound with endless sound.
The fever of it has one tied and bound
To the virtue of one's soul, still weak.
Time and Society are merciless
To an already troubled soul.
Lord, help me to untie these delusions
And set my mind whole.
Philosophy or Prose?
Lord, who knows?
Just free me from this troubled spot,
That I may finally forget memory forgot.
Confusion wrought or gilt silver old?
Ageless deliberations of barb's bold.
Sinners' salvation in the Palm of the Hand,
Whilst ignorance and pride spread the land.
Late-night commandos,
Midnight warriors, who knows?
Archers gleaming in the moonlit sky,
The innocent just wander and wonder, Why?!
