Dear Joyce and Cindy,
Dear Cousins (this is true).
I am almost certain that you believe
That I never think of you.
But, how could one forget
Two wonderful, lovely, and witty cousins?
As near as I have to sisters.
For I care so much for the both of you.

This message is a simple one
That I hope you will never forget.
Forever will our family bond
Be fixed taut and sternly set.

I wish to portray to you both,
Those things,
To my winged pen,
Memory brings.
I recall moments of the past,
As often many will do.
And not long does this last
Without memory mentioning something
Of the both of you.

I have a lot to thank God for,
Much more than pen could tell.
But, of this matter in particular
I give thanks for sharing my youth,
With both of you as well.
