c2. The bubble
When the bubble goes up,
Where will all the people have gone?
When the bubble goes up,
Who will have won the war?
When the bubble goes up,
Who will be left to sing this song?
What will it all have happened for?
What a terrible price to pay
For only patronizing your own life.
Forward only, until the last day,
When fate will stab you with its fireknife.
They tell us to fight
Only not to be fought.
Injure only not to be injured.
Kill only not to be killed.
Hate only not to be loved.
Why can't you see that we're all heading
Down the wrong road?
And coming to yet another adverse fork?
It doesn't matter which way you choose,
Because in either direction
You're bound to lose?
Crimes await and hate,
To those who simply sit around and wait.
Someday everyone will be dead.
We will each have written the others fate.
Another collision of matter and antimatter,
Now wouldn't that be just great?
Sometimes you've just got to tell the world
That you just don't care.
'Going to ignore entropy
'Cause you just don't scare.
Just look them in their eyes
And if they say you're crazy
Just knock'em on their asses
And drive until your history.
