NeXT SELECTS COMPUS CORPORATION AS FIRST
FEDERAL MINORITY BUSINESS PARTNER
ROCKVILLE, Maryland, February 5, l990...Compus Services Corporation
announced today that it has signed an agreement with NeXT, Inc. to
become NeXT's first 8(a)-certified minority business enterprise (MBE)
federal systems integrator. With this agreement, Compus, one of the
fastest growing MBEs in the high technology industry, may include NeXT
workstations in the hardware and software solutions it presents to its
clients.

move NeXT products effectively into the government market," said Dan'l
Lewin, NeXT's vice president, sales. "Compus is an experienced and
knowledgeable systems integrator, with demonstrated skills in
navigating the complex federal procurement process."
In 1988, Compus became certified as a minority small business
enterprise under the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) program.
This coveted 8(a) certification is currently held by only
approximately 300 high-technology companies nationwide.
