BREAKFAST CRISPS (RANGER COOKIES)      Servings:  3 doz.

1/2 c.        margarine                1/2 tsp.  baking soda
1/2 c.        sugar                    1/4 tsp.  salt
1/2 c.        brown sugar              1   c.    oats
1             egg                      1   c.    rice crispies
1/2 tsp.      vanilla                  1/2 c.    coconut
1   c.        flour, unsifted          1/2 tsp.  baking powder

   Preheat oven to 375F.  Cream margarine and sugars.  Add egg and vanilla.
Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, oats, cereal and
coconut, then add to creamed mixture.  Drop by teaspoons onto greased
cookie sheets.  Bake 10 minutes.
