OXFORD TEXT ARCHIVE SNAPSHOT                                  August 1992

This is the FORMATTED version of the Short List of Texts held in the
Oxford Text Archive.  The list is sorted primarily by language, within
that by author and within that by title.  The list also includes some
information about the depositor of the text and the sources from which
it was derived, where available.

Special characters such as accented letters are represented in the text
by mnemonics which are delimited by the characters ampersand & and
semicolon ; - for example the accented letter e-acute is represented by
é and uppercase e-acute is represented by É

The identifier for each text consists of a letter indicating the
availability code of the text (P, U, A, or X), a hyphen, the text
number, another hyphen and another letter (A to E) indicating the size
of the text.
