Rudy Rucker is unusual in that his non-fiction (popular speculative
mathematics books) has a great deal in common with his fiction.  In the
books I've read ("Master of Tinme and Space" & "The Sex Sphere"), odd bits
of mathematics form central pieces to his work.  They are also more than
slightly strange.
