Well, since people keep asking for book lists, I'm going to keep producing
them to order.

The is for H. Beam Piper, best known for his Fuzzy novels.  I prefer his
paratime (alternate history / timetravel) novels myself.  There's something
about the worlds he created that stick with you: several authors have
written "sequels" to his stories (which are listed below).
