I'm now going to do some easy authors people have requested.  Easy because
(1) I own all (or virtually all) of their works & (2) they are all recent
writers.

John M. Ford is a good writer.  I've enjoyed every one of his books
(although hsi second book is a bit weak).  "The Dragon Waiting" is a great
alternate history.  "The Final Reflection" is the definitive novel on
Klingons & "How Much for Just the Planet?" is **FUNNY** (both for people
who like and people who dislike trek).  All we need is alot more novels!
