In order to obtain connected status for a particular network,
information about your sponsor must be supplied to
[email protected].
What is a sponsor?
A sponsor is a person in the government that has authorized your
organization to connect to the DDN-internet. We are looking for a
sponsor that is OUTSIDE your organization, including a current person's
name that heads the sponsoring organization. Examples of current
sponsoring organizations are the National Science Foundation (NSF),
Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), or any one of the
military branches.
The format of sponsor information to be sent to
[email protected]
should be the following:
