There is one more thing,  that I do in the APRS-IS network:  a weather
station.

My WX object is located in the square JN79OA  in the south Bohemia and
reports every  fifteen minutes via TCP-IP temperature,  humidity, wind
speed and direction and gust. The call sign is OK1ZXS-6[1].

All  the equipment  is from  a German company TFA Dostmann  which  has
a long history  of making thermometers,  barometers,  humidity meters,
etc. and created an online platform called WeatherHub[2] through which
the compatible sensors can be reached anywhere via a mobile app or via
a REST API.

The rest was very simple:  I created a short Python scripts that reads
my  sensors  from the API  and feeds  them  into APRS-IS.  Not exactly
something groundbreaking,  but it works and  it enabled me to put a WX
object in the are, where there was none.
