| gophernicus CGI scripts with TLS | |
| April 20th, 2022 | |

| I just noticed that many of the CGI scripts on my site were hard coded | |
| to use only port 70, instead of using the $SERVER_PORT variable. | |
| The $SERVER_PORT variable is immensely useful because it allows | |
| gophernicus to reply with a different port depending on if the | |
| connection is being served plain or over TLS... | |
| I have no idea if it makes any difference though; are there any gopher | |
| over TLS clients out there? Let me know in the comments. | |

| Gopher is slow enough without Tor's involvement. | |
