The T1100 PLUS can be hooked to an external 5.25" floppy drive of a 360KB
capacity. This is done through the computer's DB-25 port, switching it from
the default parallel port mode ("PRT") into floppy disk connector mode ("A"
or "B") using the the switch located on the left side of the computer, next
to the contrast scroll.

Here is the pinout of the DB-25 connector used by Toshiba for interacting
with such an external floppy drive:
