I finally convinced my wife, who was the lone holdout, to get rid of
cable TV.  Actually our kids never  watched much TV, so for them not
much  changes. They  are still  on their  phones all  day like  good
Gen-Z'ers.   My wife  and  I do  like  to watch  a  few cable  shows
together, but  in the end  the ads wore her  down. There is  so much
streaming content available  now, it seems pointless  to waste money
on cable. I was always of the opinion that if cable companies wanted
to  save their  dying  business model,  they could  pay  us for  the
privilege of watching ads and  selling our viewing habits.  They are
greedy, however.  Good riddance.
