Tar that handles tape errors
My version of "tar" which handles tape errors is ready to be distributed
(well, as ready as it will ever get).  The source is rather bulky,
unfortunately: tar.c is 53 blocks and the manual page is 12 blocks.
There are some 1200 lines of code.  However the diffs are some 600
lines!  In any case this is rather a lot of material to post to
net.sources, so what I propose to do is mail the source and manual page
to whoever requests it (by mail).  The people who have already requested
it will get it, anyone else please send mail to me and you can get it
too.
