In the letter from John Donnelly regarding the Boston Meeting, he mentioned
the funding of a newsletter for Usenix.  I just want to put in my bid for
an "electronic newsletter" and not a physical (paper) one.  It would
seem to be a waste of paper and stamps to not take advantage of the
net for distribution. (It would also save the money necessary to print and
distribute the letter via U.S. Mail).

John Van Zandt (sdcsvax!jvz) has an interesting idea concerning
electronic mailing of the newsletter.  It should be pointed out that not
everybody who wants to recieve (or who is entitled to recieve) the
newsletter is on the network.  So on somesort of form, one might be able
to specify a preference.  Also, unless one person at each network node
is specified as the contact point (as in the current system) and only
he recieves the newsletter (and presumably sends it off to others in his
facility), this could be a very hard thing to manage.
