C-370 Experience?
I sent out a request last week for information on AT&T's 370 C compiler
for MVS.  So far I have only gotten one response.  I find it hard to
believe that all throughout USENET-land there aren't more people with
direct experience on this compiler.  I promise replies will be held
in confidence if requested.

Here is the request:

Does anyone have, or know someone who has, experience with AT&T's
C compiler for IBM 370-type machines running MVS?  Need to know
about:

       Compatibility with UNIX C
       Code generation quality
Runtime library quality (especially I/O routines)
Reliability (correct code, no obscure runtime explosions)
       Documentation quality (error messages explained?)

This is being considered for projects where extensive UNIX
experience cannot be assumed.
