Software exchange
Hello...I am in reality Ralph Droms, a recent addition to the network.

Is there an informal/formal software exchange/bulletin board/wishlist
program someplace (aside from specific requests/offers)??  If not,
is there interest in such a forum??  I don't mean to usurp the currently
available Usenix distribution tape system - just thought there might
be a place for "quick and dirty" software swaps.

As examples, we are currently looking for uucp mods to talk to a Racal-Vadic
dialer (isn't everybody!!) and a UCSD Pascal p-code interpreter to run
under 4.?bsd or V6 UNIX (don't ask why).  Stuff that's been done here
includes mods to cu for R-V, mods to uucp to run under V6 (for anyone who's
interested, I also have an incarnation under "psuvax!psupdp!red" - we
have an 11/780 and an 11/34 that talk to each other) and a monitor to
hold down game usage when the system is heavily loaded.
