I/O Connector Definitions
I am very confused about the handling of i/o connectors in the
UCDS system.  In the User's Manual, the pin numbers are always
assigned directly to each i/o connector.  Does this mean that
you \must/ do that?  Is there no way to delay the binding of
logical pin name with the pin number?

Also, how are i/o connectors defined using the board program?
[Indeed, does anyone \use/ the board program?]  There seems to
be no documentation for creating the appropriate .x? definitions
in the .wb file.

Finally, can anyone tell me why the board program insisted on
creating the file ./board in the directory where I used it?
What is this for?  Again, this is not documented.
