This is the beginning of a newsgroup devoted to information and hot tips
on preparation of the annual tax documents so beloved by the Internal
Revenue Service, Form 1040, and its misbegotten children, Schedules
ABCDEFG..., Forms Foo, Bar, Baz, etc., with the intent of making the
experience both less painful and less expensive for all. State tax forms
may also be discussed, but participants should be aware that outside of
states with heavy concentrations of USENET sites such as Massachusetts,
New Jersey, Illinois, and California, little usable information is likely
to result.
