modus operandi
Having just gotten onto the news net, I must say that this group is
one of my favorites (never a bunch of dying conversations, one could say).
However, I do believe that the topic of discussion for the past few weeks
(i.e., whether or not suicide is a forgivable sin) is not of much interest
for those of us with enough good taste not to believe in a deity (one might
say that our interest in this question has died). Because of this, I
suggest a new topic, namely:

                       "HOW TO DO IT"

Yes, I think its about time to consider the proper methods and
etiquette of suicide. To start the ball rolling, I have always thought
that the government could open nuclear tests to all people wishing to
commit suicide (I really think it would be a blast). All they would have
to do is dig the underground chamber in which the device is placed slightly
larger (it would have been easier in the days of above ground testing, but
alas, those days are gone. Maybe with Reagan.....). Another idea I had was
deep fat frying, but that sounded a bit like a chicken's way out to me.
Well, enough ramblings. Put on your thinking caps and see if we can
come up with a "how to" guide (or maybe even a new section for Emily Post)
about our favorite subject.
